Worst company. Don't deal with them. Wanda is one of them she will waist your time once she will book the load then after 1 hour she will email you load is not shipping. STAY AWAY from Wanda that lady is a Scammer

This rating is difficult for me. The person that my dispatcher booked the load with was Wanda and she was ABSOLUTELY rude and unprofessional towards my dispatcher. After reading other reviews on here, I am honestly not sure why she is still employed with this company! The ONLY reason that I gave 3 stars instead of 1 star was because of a wonderful man named Jim that works there. He was very kind, helpful and, as promised, called me back personally when he received an answer from Rude Wanda! Clearly, Wanda’s issues with carriers will never change, so a Supervisor should consider this when canning her!

I have worked with many different Trucking companies, and I highly recommend Southern Cargo Services. They are second to none, due specifically to my Broker Jim Newell, and Customer Service Representative, Denise Morgan.

Jim is a wonderful Broker to work with. I wish all brokers were as pleasant, thorough, and thoughtful, as he is. He takes his job very personally and will bend over backwards to do what whatever I ask. Many times he will make recommendations, based upon current trailer availability, and we plan my loads accordingly. He knows the flow of my business, almost as well as I do. We have worked together for 5 years and counting. A great person to work with. (6 out of 5 stars)

Denise is such a delightful CSR, to work with. She too, will make sure my shipping needs are met in a timely manner. Her customer service is warm, personable, and inviting. Her industry knowledge is vast, and very helpful, to my business. She truly cares about me. (Highly Satisfied)

Worst experience ever, Wanda is highly unprofessional person who turns off her phone and gets our drivers to wait 2 days to get unloaded. She is a person that will lie straight to your face, if you book a load with her, you're gonna keep it for 5 days with no detention or layover. Avoid this brokerage if you don't wanna have headache.

I will try to stay away from this broker! We have booked a shipment with Wanda and got pretty bad experience, she will not provide full information about the shipment such as pick up / delivery address or times. After waiting for 5-6 hours at shipper she refused to pay detention even she promised to do so. Very unprofessional broker.

VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

Absolutely horrible company, bottom feeders of the broker business stay away at all costs! If you ever deal with Wanda, she'll lie to you about appointment time then keep calling and threatening you just to avaid paying layover or detention. Drivers please avoid this company if you don't want to stay with their load for days without pay....

Beware of Mrs. WANDA from SOUTHERN CARGO SERVICES, MC-848548, she is SCAMMER ! She is booking load with carrier and play games with pickup and delivery day. She keeps you on promise all day, but never will send you a true rate confirmation to avoid paying layover or detention. You will only waist time with this company.
