Very thankful for the personable, honest, kind customer service I received from this company! George was very educational and able to provide extra references/resources that helped in my relocation across state lines. While discussing the initial quote, our conversations were transparent and I did not feel like I was talking to a sales person, but rather someone who takes the integrity of the job seriously. It definitely feels like a big deal to trust others with your beloved property and items. I trust this team!

Terrible Terrible Service, if I could give them a minus 10 I would. DO NOT ISE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A FRAUDULENT COMPANY, they Quoted us $2,675 after seeing pictures of all they had to load 3 Bedrooms living room dining room and contents of Kitchen Cupboard and wardrobes including miscellaneous packed in 19 Boxrs. Their rep George Cook promised that this price was form and would never change based on the pictures we sent and Boxes to be moved on 18th December. We agreed to pay $675 deposit the balance when they arrived New Jersey, and George Cook from his email address, sent us the agreement which said just that, what we agreed upon no mention of any Cancellation fees. On the 18th of December they sent 2 men who could not speak English properly one showed us his iPad that we had to execute a new agreement this time that the move would cost $4000.00 and we had to pay immediately $1,900.00 before they could move, anything and that if we refused to pay this amount we would lose our deposit of $675.00.

We refused to sign this new agreement and advised them of our agreement with George Cook based on the pictures of all the rooms and 19 Boxes and that this was a new agreement which cancelled out the old agreement with George Cook.
As such we did not have an agreement with this Company, the 2 men threatened us and left angrily.
We advised our Bank of the Fraud the. This Company had the Gaul to lie to the Bank send them forged emails that was never sent to us and claim that we cancelled an agreement we never executed and as such we had agreed to lose our deposit of $675, in the event we cancelled. This even tho ugh it was totally false, the Bank took the $675 from our account gave it to these thieves and asked us to sue them. Which we did. Again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND FRAUDSTERS.

I had a terrible experience with Smooth Relocation Vanlines and would strongly advise others to stay away. The original quote they provided was far from accurate, and upon delivery, they tacked on numerous extra charges. At that point, I had no choice but to pay, as they had all my belongings.

To make matters worse, they lost an essential piece of my $749 dining table and the leg of my $194 lamp, making both completely unusable. When I rightfully refused to pay for a parking ticket they received, I was threatened over the phone by the owner (the mover next to me even confirmed I was speaking to the owner). I was told that if I didn’t pay whatever they demanded, I would lose my right to file a claim for my damaged and missing items.

This company operates in a deceitful and unprofessional manner, using hidden fees and intimidation tactics to take advantage of customers. I felt incredibly uncomfortable throughout the process, especially when being threatened. Avoid this company at all costs—you do not want to go through what I did.

I was so impressed with Smooth Relocation Vanlines. George stopped by during the move to update us, which made the whole process so smooth.

I'm not too sure about George but I am sure that animals have beautiful souls and depend on us to take care and love them. So lets open our eyes and see them!! Their pure hearts deserve us way more than we deserve them. 💖

I recently moved from Chicago to Arizona and used Smooth Relocation for the move. I have to say they were excellent! The move was exactly what George from Smooth said it would be. George handled my move as promised and is a great guy to work with. They packed all the boxes. Nothing was damaged or broken. The move was delivered on scheduled date. I highly recommend this company for you in your next move.

I copy pasted below what was asked if me so that the animals they are said to be carrying for would have 5 days off food for them but I have not personally know nothing about the experience o of smooth relocation or animals personally cared for by them.
Though always willing to help a purpose or cause the below statements I can not say if they are true or not. But I keep the hope alive that they are doing what they say they are doing and that's helping animals.

The experience with Smooth Relocation Vanlines was flawless. Austin reassured us midway through, making the move stress-free.

I don’t typically leave reviews for small family owned businesses that are negative. But for this company I had to.

I had the worst experience with them from the beginning. So many additional charges were added. They messaged me and added an additional 400$ to my move because they said they could not use alleys to unload and needed to transfer my items to a smaller truck, when they got here they used the alley by the way. So what it sounds like to me is they wanted to get more customers since my items were put on hold for 12 days and get more money by not only getting a new customer but using me as bait to also get more money by calling it a transfer. They are scammers.

To add to the mix I got my tv and it was broken. I am also missing a box from my delivery and received someone else’s box. I have been trying to reach customer service and have gotten an email back from them. So I will post the box here and hope that the owner sees it!

I would shell out more money for a different company who cares more because this one will seem lower than the rest at first but the additional charges that aren’t necessary add up quickly.
