Use this storage facility to store my daughter’s college apartment items while she comes home for the summer. Staff is amazing, helpful, and always attentive. Facility is clean and very convenient. Had such a great experience last summer that when I needed to book another unit this year, I had no hesitation on booking with SmartStop again. Would highly recommend!

I never leave reviews, but this one is important. As a few others have stated, please do not be fooled by the 5-star ratings. While the facility is fine and the staff is nice, this company will leave you worse off. I moved into a 10x20 unit and after being there for 5 months, received a notice that my “promotional rate” was ending and my rent nearly doubled. When I signed up, the only “promotion” I was given was 50% off the first month. Increases beyond that were a surprise to me. When I called and asked, they admitted rents will go up every 5-6 months; that’s just how it goes because they do not offer long-term contracts. I have a family member who also rents here, and his payments have quadrupled over a 3-year period. Monthly payment is now over $400 for a 10x20. This company takes advantage of the fact that most people are unable/unwilling to move to a new storage unit without a lot of effort… especially in the Phoenix heat. I’ve used storage nearly everywhere I’ve lived and never seen consistent, excessive rate hikes like this. If you plan on storing for longer than 6 months, please do your research and go elsewhere!

The 2 gentleman working on Feb 6th around 4:00pm were absolutely awesome! (I wish I had gotten their names!!!) They pointed us in the right direction, were so polite, very thorough, just extremely helpful all-around. And they’re hilarious 😀 I will be using this company, and this specific location, for all my storage needs.
