Does anyone ever work here ever. They never ansewer to pay the bill to move out of there but can't. This is sad for biz and there quick to wanna give you a late fee if your late.not recommending this place at all

In summary, it felt professional yet still caring like a small town business. A friend I helped through rough times had a storage unit here and I worked with them to pay for the unit and eventually empty it out. I have worked with a quite a few storage units through my work and this is one of the best ones I’ve seen. The units are well-built, secure, and did well protecting the contents from the weather. The buildings and grounds were well maintained and clean. The wide aisles were also nice. The best part for me were the staff. The woman in the office (maybe Barbara but I can’t recall) was amazing to work with. She did a great job balancing being professional and following the guidelines while also being personal enough to help during a difficult situation for the unit owner. She made it easy to handle things remotely since I don’t live in Merced. The man doing the maintenance was also very helpful and personable.

We rented a UHaul and it was at this facility. We got multiple emails and texts and calls changing the return location. The day before we were to turn it back in, we realized we needed another day. I called Uhaul, made the arrangements for an additional $50.00. This was once again followed by multiple text, calls and emails changing the return location. We believed the final spin of the wheel was back at this facility. My husband arrived with the truck the next morning and the girl who worked there said she had forgotten the keys to open at home and had to go back and get them. She said she would check in the truck when she returned. My husband left and I set aside $50.00 in my VERY low bank account balance to cover it. Then I get hit with $187.10, not $50.00, throwing my account negative. Their reason? Because we turned it in at the wrong location, even though we thought it was the last communication, they voided our original contract, converted it to a one way rental and the daily rental cost, truck insurance and fees all went up, SUBSTANTIALY. They gave me the whole, its Uhauls fault excuse and of course UHaul didn't care but here is my $137.10 complaint. I would like to believe this business is customer focused enough that had the girl been ready to do the truck return when my husband was there, she would have said, hey, this needs to be returned at xyz location or you cost will ho up a lot. She was not there to do so nor did anyone call to make it right, they just voided what we agreed to and did a whole new contract, hit my bank account and leave our family with no money at all. This is definitely a problem with UHauls procedures for sure but this business chose money over making it right with a customer and for that, I will not use their storage as we had spoken of and no truck rentals from their either.

My Husband and I love this storage! It's so convenient and helpful at a time when things were so stressful for us. There were uhauls on site to rent. The prices are really low, they seem to really care about the things we are storing. Also loved how friendly the employee's are. 👍🏻

I originally was going to go the other Sierra self storage when I got there, the office door was closed and no one answered. I called this location and was able to be helped right away super helpful. Definitely would recommend. Super nice staff. Very clean.
