Have ordered pizza from Sicily's over 5 times. Always a stuffed crust pepperoni pizza for pickup. So good. Everyone is very polite. Quick service.

August 31, 2023 - Sitting on a jet for 10 hours I hope provides Context !

Sometimes folks need the background facts to understand a review, so here goes. . .

My wife & I we’re exhausted from 3,500 miles in the air, from MAINE ! Unfortunately our last leg, the Captain announced air turbulence, so beverages & food service was curtailed.

Arriving in Fairbanks at 10:30 pm few places are open that serve food. Our hotel clerks recommended walking a few blocks to Sicily’s Pizza. By now it’s 11:30 pm, we’re starving !

Normally my reviews are lengthy, well researched, and have a lot of photos to back up my points about the food, service, decor, and dining atmosphere . . . Sorry folks!

It’s simple , we’re in Alaska , not New York City, or the “ North End” in Boston! It’s a small pizza establishment close to midnight, with 2 or 3 people doing the work. . . for the customers that call in, text in, or walk in !

Their pizza is freshly made, looking at the stacks of 5 lb bags of flour. The pizza is not a Neapolitan thin crust style, rather a 3/4 inch soft pretzel style, very different from the common styles of pizza in the lower 48 states. But we liked it! We were hungry!

We’re thankful for those who are working late at night, and serve pretty good food to those traveling great distances to your home! ?❤️

Can’t wait to see more of Alaska these next 10 days! But your hospitality is greatly appreciated late at night upon arrival at your airport with an empty stomach! ( context)

Good Pizza Best in Town. I did not stay to eat. I'm sure the service is good, but it can work on the atmosphere. Hoping for a touch of European Italy. It's more of a take out pizza place. I get it and understand.

This isn't your first choice for a pizza place. However, if it's 2 in the morning after slaving away on your truck, or drunker than an Irishman on new years, or just coming back from a long road trip, this place never fails to deliver edible pizza that's pretty good

Went here because it was one of the few places open at night. Ordered a large chicken bacon ranch pizza($22). The pizza was pretty good but the ranch flavor was concentrated to one side. My friends got the gyro, they liked it. The wait time isn't too bad.

Ordered delivery and was told an hour for my order. It took two hours for delivery of my not so hot food. The pizza was dry and the crust was dense and chewy. I would recommend extra sauce if you foolishly order from here. The wings were large but really soggy, yet lacking sauce (a true conundrum that defies logic). The quality and taste of the pizza was not as good as Pizza Hut and being from Chicago, I hate pizza hut.

my husband and i stopped in for dinner tonight, we were delivering doordashes earlier in the day and noticed how yummy the pizza smelled so we had to try it for ourselves! we just moved to the area and this is by far the friendliest place we’ve been to!! Ever since Sicily's got new management they have just been fantastic in our experience, excellent quality, friendly staff and they take real pride in their product. We stopped coming here for the longest time due to an unfortunate hire but started coming back about a year ago, now we won't go to anyone else on our cheat nights. Thank you Sicily's for sparing me from cooking tonight and for a job VERY well done!
