Between Dr. Yu , and his staff I was blown away by the service! Everyone is wonderful, very professional, reliable, ontop of things I can keep going on how happy the Dr./ Staff gave me! I initially met Dr. Yu in 2016 after a friend of mine had her surgery with him. I had failed weight loss attempts for many years and Dr. Yu was very knowledgeable about the why’s behind it. I had the sleeve gastrectomy on 7/26/2016 and lost a lot of weight! Unfortunately I developed reflux and some unhealthy eating habits during COVID. I talked to Dr. Yu and he recommended a revision. He assured me that no matter what I did with regard to changing my eating habits the reflux would continue. I was made aware of this possible side effect from the sleeve when I had it. I had my revision on 7/10/23 and Dr. Yu has been wonderful. I have had a lot of questions and he has answered everyone of them without frustration. I highly recommend the TLC practice as a whole. They also have a wonderful nutritionist that has educated me as well.

I cane to Dr Yu after years of being obese and he went over all my options.
Came up with a plan and after testing to make sure surgery would be safe, we set up a date and I had my surgery. It's one of the best decisions I could have made for myself and he was able to I repair a hernia at the same time! His staff is phenomenal and if you are thinking of having surgery the TLC clinic is the place to go.

I have nothing bad to say or review. I felt the process was pretty easy. I’m not a person that needs direct attention so the virtual visits and calls did not bother me. I decided to self pay. They were able to use my insurance for a few things that ended up losing the cost of my surgery. I was sleeved January 24, 2022. So far I have not had any issues. Dr. Yu was my surgeon. I felt that he made me feel very comfortable. Along with everyone else I spoke with leading up to my surgery. I would recommend TLC to anyone looking into getting weight loss surgery.

I love Dr. Yu! I have been with him for 10 years through a lap band adjustments (my first surgeon at another practice retired), LB to sleeve revision, and gallbladder surgery. He is professional, kind, and also brutally honest...which is important with weight loss surgery. He has excellent bed side manner and is always asking questions to learn more about how I'm feeling and how to help. His nurses are also very sweet, and the dietician was really helpful. My only complaint is that the wait time at the office is often long.
I am 16 pounds from my goal weight and couldn't be happier with my results!

Great Doctor!!! Also was able too return too work in 2 weeks with light duty. I have had no issue with my surgery before and after. I DONT HAVE ANY Regrets with him doing my surgery. Update :Till the best choice I made for my self 2024!!

Dr.Yu is a very great doctor. He is very detailed very proficient, and knowledgeable with the different type of surgeries that you may need. The office staff is very professional and they answer calls and questions when you need help. A great place to have a great surgery.
