Must check n at truck control before going to guard shack to check n to port. Refer unit have tag info truck info cdl n escorts r 60$ cheap. I have twick card but not any faster but easy n easy out. Way easier than the port in LA

You must check in at 90 industrial canal rd before entering port make (r) at Exxon stay to the (r) make (L) under bridge follow that until you get to the split stay (L) you will see the parking to check in on the right.
Fresh loads are not going to be priority over frozen loads. 3 hours I’ve been sitting in dirt lot for escort they still have not gotten to me. They charge $75 to escort with no twic they accept efs & comm check currently credit card is down

They have overnight parking outside the docks. Before you head hear check in with Alabama State Docks Truck Controls center. You better have a twic card or else you have pay 75.00 too be escorted on the port. Alabama State Docks have zero tolerance for wondering around. They are pretty quickly about getting load up and unloading.

For those delivering here on Sat or Sun, The truck dock control is closed on the weekends, park on gravel lot at first entrance of truck dock control, on right, and escorts will eventually come out and escort you back to where you need to be, otherwise very fast to get you to a door, at least on weekends and everyone from the cop who told me what to do, to the escort were nice and friendly

We were waiting 9 hours at the staging area until they put us on the door.
Unloading was quick enough. The problem is waiting for 9 hours to get the door.

OVERNIGHT PARKING AVAILABLE! Make right at the exxon FOLLOW THE GREEN SIGNS to truck control DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS TO THE DOCKS (the big gravel area is not the truck control check in lol (don't get confused like me). IT IS FCFS but i suggest coming after the big rush in the morning or you will be waiting longer. It took less than an hour to check in to both truck control and shipping/receiver dock get unloaded and get my paperwork back.

You have to goto the Alabama state docks truck control center to check in if you need an escort. The address is

90 Industrial Road West, Mobile, AL 36602

Make sure you check your trailer for damages. They drive the forklifts like maniacs, and they will refuse to take responsibility. Theyl blame everyone but the forklift driver. Around lunch time they all take their breaks at once, while you sit and wait. Id give negative stars if I could.
