I used to eat at Schlotzsky’s in Dallas Texas many years ago. We had one briefly in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where I live, but it has closed. I was thrilled to recently see one in Birmingham. I stopped and ate there today and it was just like I remembered – delicious Sandwich with yummy bread! So glad they are in the area. You should go check it out!

The regular sandwich is incredibly good! Interior is overdue for a serious refresh/ remodel. AJ seems very capable and diligent. He and female in kitchen did A+ job taking care of my order.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and found this location with a vast menu with multiple choices. The staff was quick to serve and the order came out in a short time. The food was good and filling. A wonderful choice for a quick lunch or dinner. I highly recommended this place to anyone.

We went in at 12:15 for lunch. It was dirty and after 5 min of waiting in line (dining room was maybe 1/2 full), we were told they weren't taking any more orders they were too backed up. It may be a blessing in disguise based on how dirty it was, but seems pretty bad to not be prepared for a lunch rush.

Disclaimer: I am gluten free, but not celiac, and do not have immediate reactions to gluten exposure. I am giving my experience based on taste and service. As always, how "safe" the food is for other gluten free people may vary depending on your sensitivity.
I love eating here. The staff is always so friendly and try to help even if things (like issues with the app) are outside of their control. If anything has ever been amiss, they are always eager to fix the situation. I go here for gluten free pizzas and some of the best gluten free bread buns I've ever had. Always tastes super fresh, and the bread doesn't fall apart immediately like other gf bread buns. They have also been knowledgeable about things when I've asked them about menu items being gluten free. I also like that it's not outrageous to make an item gluten free here, so I'm not feeling bad about having to pay way more.
Environment-wise, I always ordered togo, so I'm not sure how clean or nice the restaurant itself is to eat in, but food-wise my experience has been 10/10.

This restaurant is poorly staffed and the food prep area is nasty. I saw one employee stacking sliced meet on a wooden counter at the drive through. They always forget to include everything I order and they take excessive time to prepare it.

We have ordered delivery from here several times and every time they have gotten it wrong. I always order extra dressing for an additional cost and the extra dressing was never with the delivery. Today, not only did they not include the extra dressing, they didn’t send any dressing at all. I do not like salad without dressing, but I dislike even more not getting what I pay for. I drove 20 minutes to the store and asked for a refund. No apology or offer to fix the issue. They did refund the salad and the dressing, but nothing for their incompetence or inconveniencing me. Side note, the store was really dirty too. I have finally learned my lesson and will no longer be ordering from this place. Their customer service is garbage!
