Vernon and Morgan did a great job helping me move an armoire from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor bedroom. My girls and I got it as far as the first step and realized there was no way we could lift it up the stairs.

Vernon and Morgan were meticulous in wrapping the armoire in moving pads and plastic. It took them 15 minutes to get it up the tight stairwell, placed on the base and unwrapped. I’d definitely use them again for future heavy furniture moves. Definitely saved me the aggravation and pain of maneuvering the heavy armoire.

I am typing this from the comfort of my new couch that was expertly delivered to my apartment moments ago! I requested service 24 hours ago, and I am very pleased. John and Leon (I apologize if I am misspelling names) were great. Clear communication, confident, and handled the couch with care. There were a few tight thresholds for getting the piece into place, but that was no problem for them. I highly recommend this service, and if you get John and Leon on your team you're in good hands.

Sam & Lamont's crew were absolutely amazing. We had a huge sleeper sofa that needed to go up 4 flights of stairs with tight clearance. They realized they needed additional help and called 2 more guys in for backup.

They were thoughtful, careful not to damage anything, and had a pleasant attitude even though the couch was a BEAST.

Would recommend Schlep to anyone in Chicago for heavy moving.

Stellar service! I used Schlep to deliver some heavy (and precious) vintage furniture up 3 flights of stairs. They expertly wrapped and carried everything to the exact spots where I wanted them while ensuring total care so that everything stayed in perfect condition. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Also, love the company name. Highly recommend!

Schlep came highly recommended by Megmade for delivering my reupholstered/ refinished chair. Though more expensive than hiring any person with a truck, it is a much better option--they were organized, professional, took great care of my furniture and it was all delivered within the time frame I chose. Their communication process is spot on and you never have to wonder what's happening. Also, if there had been an unforeseen incident (a herd of bison knocked them over in my stairway, for instance) - they are insured! Ot was a great experience beginning to end and I will use them again!
