I just received first time service from Same Day Small Movers and it was a really great experience from beginning to end. The owner was clear and precise on the service they provide, what to expect from his team and how and when payment was due. The team that assisted with the move were professional, respectful and really easy to work with.

Moving crew was courteous, and took care with very heavy oak furniture. I am on a third floor unit and they made every effort to ensure smooth delivery. Furniture was broken down at pick up location and they reassembled upon delivery. I will refer and use them for future needs.

Richard was awesome and very professional on the phone. He quoted a great price since I was stressing out with school and other issues. Leroy and Larry were wonderful as well helping move everything in a timely manner so I wouldn't be late to work. Will definitely use you guys in the future and promise it won't be last minute like this move. Thanks a trillion

Had a WONDERFUL experience with the Same Day Small Movers team! They were quick to respond to my last minute moving request and of the multiple movers I reached out to, had the most competitive pricing. Richard who booked my move kept me informed throughout the entire process. The moving team Larry and Derrick were extremely friendly and personable. They were quick and efficient with my move while taking very good care of my items during the move. I HIGHLY recommend and plan to use this team for future needs.

Unfortunately editing my review to one star. I do not recommend them. Please note the response from the owner below. The furniture had been professionally delivered the day before from EQ3 everything was in perfect condition. The movers unboxed everything and damaged them moving the dresser upstairs and broke the bed attempting to assemble it.

My first experience was great! I had a dresser that needed to be moved last minute, pretty late, and they took care of it. Highly recommend!

However, my second experience wasn’t as positive. I had another dresser and a bed to move upstairs and assemble. I knew the bed was complicated to assemble and the dresser was very heavy, but the owner assured me they could handle it. Long story short, $6k worth of brand new in the box furniture - was damaged (the dresser was scratched, and the bed frame was broken), and the bed wasn’t assembled at all.

Overall, I would still recommend them as movers—they were kind and professional. I think they just over-promised and under-delivered on the work that was completed. Unfortunately, I paid the same price as if the work had been finished properly.

I honestly wouldn’t have edited this review if the owner had acknowledged my text message about the damaged furniture. 😔

These movers are great! They are kind, attentive, follow up, and have great prices. They are very courteous, respectful, careful with moving your items, and always make sure to ask where you want things placed before they finish moving everything! It makes the process run so smoothly and truly makes the moving process easier.
I have used them twice now for two different moves, and I fully intend to use them again in the future! I also plan to share their information with anyone I know needing movers throughout the future, because they truly do a great job and provide excellent customer service. I highly recommend using these movers!!!
