I visited Homer Alaska over Memorial Day weekend. I was there with 3 of my children and we had an excellent stay at Salmonberry suites. The food was amazing! This B&B is connected with CS Adventures fishing charters. Each morning we woke up early and headed to the boat with a picnic basket full of breakfast burritos or sandwiches. One morning we had the stuffed french toast which was so delicious! Our hosts prepared a special treat for us and cooked up some of the fish we had caught that day. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from "the Spit", and within walking distance from a grocery store. The scenery is beautiful--surrounded by trees (we had a moose walk through the property). Our hosts were thoughtful and attentive. If we had any needs, they were quickly met. I can't recommend this property highly enough. If you stay, make sure to book a fishing trip with them as well. Super fun!

In June we stayed with our daughter and three of her children at Salmonberry Suites. The accommodations were clean and the owners made our stay exceptionally pleasant. The breakfasts were wonderful and the fishing trip was memorable. Our grandchildren were especially thrilled with the kindness and attention that were paid to them. I definitely recommend them for a memorable experience.

Wow! This place is amazing. My family of 7 loved our stay. Clean, peaceful and convenient. It is so secluded with trees surrounding the entire property but central to downtown homer so we could walk to theaters and restaurants within 3-5 minutes. The owners were amazing to help us with activities and make this a memorable vacation.

Then, the fishing charter was the best fishing I’ve ever had, anywhere! Comfortable boat, great fishing and so fun! We took home 135 pounds of halibut and caught all the salmon we wanted in one day on the water. This is a top-notch accommodation and fishing charter! Thank you for hosting us and making this a fantastic vacation. We will definitely be back!

We were 3 ladies travelling Alaska, and I feel we left the best till last! The 2 bedroom suite was very clean and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for our host, Jeff. The staff were great and the breakfasts delicious; we truly were made very welcome and felt at home!
Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone heading for Homer. Great location - and a moose came through the grounds!!

Had a great time again in Homer this year. First time at Salmonberry Suites and doing a fishing Charter with Captain Dave.

On arrival Xander, the manager, got us settled into our unit and made arrangements to speak with Captain Dave about the upcoming Charter.

Our first day was reserved to fish on the Homer Spit. The 4 teenagers with us had a great time and scored a lot of fish from the shore.

On the following day we met Captain Dave and his deckhand Colton at 0700 and headed out to the fishing grounds for Halibut. We were on the fish all day, with each person limiting out on Halibut and Rockfish. In total 76.4 pounds of fillet.

Next trip will be with the same plans, Salmonberry Suites and Captain Dave!

The Suites are perfectly located with just a short walk from Main Street in Homer.

The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for us: super comfortable beds, great location, lots of space, incredible breakfasts delivered each morning. Jeff was an amazing host——we were treated like family. He was a wonderful resource for suggestions to make our stay in Homer even more special.

My team and I were visiting on business and we’re so happy we booked with Salmonberry Suites. Exceptional service, combined with small details like a heated towel rack and breakfast each morning at any time we choose allowed us to feel rested and ready for work the following day. They really do treat you like family. We’re looking forward to staying with Jeff and his crew at Salmonberry Suites again soon.

We are a family of five and were looking for a good place in Homer since we had a bear viewing tour scheduled. We arrived a little late and were gladly surprised that our host, Jeff, was waiting for us. The place was charming 2 big rooms, one bathroom a sofa bed. The kitchen had everything you may think off, even pop-corn in case you wanted to watch a movie. The TV equipped with Rocku had everything and the wifi was fast. The next morning we had our tour so Jeff made breakfast to go, it was so tasty. The next day Jeff and family served their famous french toast with fresh O.J. Really good...

The place was close to everything, we walked to the ocean, safeway was right there as well as the gas station. I would highly recommend Salmonberry suites for your next stay, really nice experience.
