Traveling on the Ethan Allen Express is like taking a trip back in time, but with Wifi. Rutland Station is officially unmanned, but it drops you off in the heart of Rutland's Downtown and next to the Walmart. Killington and Okemo ski resorts are nearby and accessible by bus. Alternatively you can rent a car from Green Mountain or get a car from the parking lot using Turo. A skiers dream location.

The station attendant must have been asleep in the back room. Lumbered out and didn't open up until 7:20 despite the sign saying they open at 7pm. We had to eat our dinner sitting on the sidewalk waiting for them to open.
