The order was over an hour late. When I called the dispatcher, he continually lied just to get off the phone. After the first hour he said he would call the driver for an ETA and call me back. 30 min. later I called back and he said he was busy taking orders and would call me in a minute. Never did. 2 hours after we ordered food came. They charge $20 for delivery and service. The driver doesn't mention anything about the order, just says how much do you want to tip, we only get if minimum wage. This company charges you twice, doesn't pay there people or offer any kind of service.

If you are in need of food delivered hot to your door from any number of restaurants, go no further. Room Service of Marin is top notch. Many restaurants to choose from, delivery in a timely fashion and friendly drivers. It is a premium service, there is a delivery fee and a tip to the drivers, but I don't have to go the restaurants and spend the time eating there when I can eat in the comfort of my home. Use them and enjoy!

I have used Room Service for years and they have always been great. Having food delivered from some of my favorite restaurants to my home has saved me from having to cook when I'm just too tired, I have nothing in the house, or I just want something special for dinner. The drivers are friendly and the food is always hot and good. They will also bring drinks like colas and wines. I would recommend this service highly.

WARNING!: One of their employees stole over $1500 in cash from me while delivering my food. I was in the middle of moving, and I had all of my move-in expenses in an envelope (which I also used to pay for my food delivery). Being a trusting person (and never expecting to get robbed blind in the middle of the day in my boyfriend's home), I stepped out of the room for one moment because I didn't have proper change and wanted to give this man a 20% tip on top of the delivery fee, and naively left the cash by the door for about 30 seconds. When I returned, I handed him the tip and was then occupied by getting the hot food into the kitchen. It wasn't until long after he had gone that I went back to where I had left the money to find the envelope still there and all of the cash missing. I filed a police report, and called the manager of Room Service (who more or less defended his employee), but without video serveilance, and with the person in question not returning the police officers calls, this is looking like hands down the most expensive Mexican food I ever got. This was last week, and so far as I know, this man is still working there.

I had used room service many times..my kids got me gift certificates but I feel I was taken advantage of in charging..so keep all your receipts of food delivered and check it out...I called ask for a refund took 2 months and then called for a print out of all my deliverys and charges..nothing

Terrible customer service. I was surprised to see a notification last night that my order was delivered when it hadn't. I decided to email them the following morning and I was told that they had closed early that night. You would think they would have taken the time to send out some sort of email or phone call to notify their customers so they wouldn't go hungry but I guess that's only to be expected of a professional delivery business. Needless to say I won't be using their service again.

I had to call 8 times...(too tired to go out so I was "desperate").
They put me on hold, got disconnected, no answer, left on hold but finally I got thru, placed my order.
A tad bit expensive but when you've been out all day hiking, shopping and too pooped to leave the cozy room, it's worth it.
But they do need to do something about the calling in part...it sucked!!!!
