If I could leave a ZERO I would.
I have never been treated the way LUPE the manager treated me. She was unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude. I thought she was going to hit me because I called her out on her lies.
My brother had a unit there and he had moved out on the 10th. I received a call from LUPE to pay for the unit because I am the contact. I was confused because my brother told me he moved out. I called my brother to get confirmation he moved. My brother confirmed he moved out on Sunday and he took his lock . I called LUPE back she told me:
1. His lock was still on the unit
2. He didn't give a 10 day notice in “WRITING” of intention to vacate..

I let LUPE know I would be over with a written notice of vacating the unit.
Once I arrived she told me that she vacated him and he no longer was in the system. To protect ourselves, I let her know I had a written notice and asked for her to sign the document and she screamed at me she was not signing anything and to get out of her office.
To summarize: she lied to me on the phone to get me pay the rent for the unit, she insisted we needed to give a 10 day written notice to vacate the property, and we will need to remove the lock on the unit.
When in actuality,
1.She did not need a 10 day notice,
2.The lock was not on the unit
3.I did not need to pay rent for the month.
Once I called her on the lie she went into a crazy fit. Everything escalated from then on.

In the response from Rio Estrella to my review they mention they cannot locate my file. Call LUPE she knows......
Lupe is just trying to play innocent for damage control. LUPE knows specifically the incidence I am speaking of because they have the incidence on “TAPE”. Now LUPE cannot recall the incident?
LUPE lied about requiring a 10 notice to vacate the property to get more rent monies, and if it was a rule then why did she say she no longer needed it once I was in front of her?
LUPE lied about needing to removing a personal lock form the unit lock. Again, once I was in front her there was no lock on the unit?
I had to drive across Phoenix from Scottsdale to help my brother because of the rude and unprofessional manager….. Lupie's idea of handling a situation is to start shouting and speaking over people. Very poor customer service.....

I was referred to Rio Estrella Storage Solutions by my brother and my experience with the staff was supreme except for the one time I encounter the weekend staff (female) at the front desk, she was very rude and short with her answers when I asked a few questions, the next time I interacted with the same staff member her attitude was totally different much more professional. Over all my experience with the company was very good.

They treated us like family the second we walked through the door. Very welcoming, and accommodating to what we were looking for when it came to an air conditioned unit.
Went with them based on cleanliness of the unit, it having very high ceilings in the unit as well, the staff being very friendly, and the security of the unit itself as well. Tons of other places around to rent from, but none were as friendly or clean. would recommend over and over and over again.
