Just another unethical broker that makes their money by stealing from the contractors who haul their freight. Fining carriers for "missing appointments" by 1 hour when shipper/receiver confirm the brokers aren't actually being charged. If you are a shipper or receiver you should find a partner with some integrity. It's completely unethical for a middleman to pad his margins on the backs of carriers, when the rates aren't even good to begin with.

Worst broker. Rude dispatchers at all times. They have never been nice. Never pay Tonu and detention. Always make up charges. Cheapest pay to carriers. I can name all the worst things. Please don’t book load with them. Getting worse every time we book.

If I could leave 0, I would do so. Giltner has reached the bottom. Be aware of unfair practices. They do rate deductions for something that is not even signed on the contract. I am absolutely going to seek legal help as I am fed-up with brokers breaking the law all the time without any consequences.

Very surprised to see negative comments, I booked couple loads with Paul Links and each load was really quick load and unload! As for Paul, he was very professional, courteous, respectful, replied at my inquiries immediately, paid on time, not even one single issue!

Paul Lincks with the brokerage dept was super unprofessional. Truck was held. I get it. It happens. He promised detention. We were polite but ignored. Had to call back for 2 weeks straight at which point he said I was just another crazy female and needed to come off the ledge. How about you compensate drivers for their time and not think your better than the person on the other end of the line just because she’s a female. Never had a problem with Giltner till this episode. I hope he doesn’t represent the rest of the company.

An ignorant a whole answer the phone. Asked me if I deliver beer. He had me stumped. He hung up on me after I said I don't know what you're saying. I told him I had a reefer. He hung the phone up on me as he said oh my gosh Knowledge is power you will fail you act like this. Including the miss treatment of Chuckers you might as well add this one star to your 1.5 stars that you have remaining on your companies profile don't mess with the best cause you'll die like the rest that's an old saying, ridiculous. I'll try to remember this company's name never use them again.

We did a Pepsi load for them from Urbandale IA to Mesquite TX. The shipper did such a bad job so when the driver got to TX and opened the trailer most of the skids were messed up and the receiver refused to unload. We had to call lumper company so they can restack all the messed up skids. It took the lumper company 8 hours and $450 to do the job. Our rep. at Giltner, Jeff and his supervisor told us that they no going to pay any detention and they even going to cut off those $450 from the rate confirmation because that was a driver's fault. "A hard braking event". All persons in the receiving admitted that this was a shipper's fault.
