REI in Flagstaff is newer and the store is very aesthetically pleasant and clean. There is a great selection of products and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great location within Flagstaff, not too far from NAU.

The associates at this REI were super helpful. I had returned an item that I thought I left a personal item in. I called the store to see if they could check for me. Evan was very kind and patient searching through the returned items up front and in the back. Really appreciative of his great customer service!

Nice big store, the staff members are very friendly and helpful. The store has a wide range of outdoor products and brands to choose from. While the store has a lot to offer, you don’t feel like you’re stepping on toes when perusing. Will definitely come back!

Just left this store today . Great customer service in aisles and people asking if we need help.

Upon checkout young lady at the counter says we are bagless. We bought a backpack and sunglasses. She does not bother to put the things in the backpack or put the sunglasses in there cases. Just left everything o counter for me to grab. Someone teach her how to be a cashier and provide good service.

I bought a brand new jet boil from them off the shelf and it came used with burn marks and food residue on the bottom. This store is trying to pass off used gear and sell it as new. I called and they said they could give me a partial refund since it was used by me.

Manager Aaron was extraordinarily unhelpful. Worst experience at an REI I have had. I’ve been a coop member for decades and am shocked how poor the customer service was. My shoes purchased 6 months ago failed catastrophically to clear factory defect. $160 shoes should be made to last longer than six months. Aaron claims to be able to identify exact mileage on shoes which is laughably inaccurate and astonishing hubris. REI has lost my business. I will only be shopping local.

Awesome service as usual, up to the brand standards. But what I really liked about this particular store was that they sell small goodies/collectibles from local artists. That's cool because they showcase stuff that you may have otherwise missed out, and open the possibility for those artists to get some extra exposition to people that may potentially be interested in what they do.
As always, love my REI.
