We started renting space here in 2011 or 2012, and initially it was good. A little bit of price creep over time, but what are you gonna do.

Then we needed a bigger unit, it was a lot more money. Price increases became more frequent, for no apparent reason.

On top of that, the unit was broken into. Possibly more than once. We discontinued last year. If we need storage again, we won't be looking here.

I had my fully equipped 26-foot travel trailer stolen from this storage facility, and I’m incredibly frustrated by the lack of actual security here. Even though you’re required to enter a code to get in, it does nothing to keep the place secure. They rent out parking stalls for daily use, which means random people are constantly entering and leaving the premises. Every time I visited, I saw cars parked in front of my trailer, giving these individuals plenty of time to scope out and plan the theft.

On top of that, the security cameras don’t work, and no one saw anything when my trailer was taken. I had two locks, but if I’d known how unsafe it was, I would have added extra security like my own camera and additional wheel locks. If you’re considering this facility, think twice and make sure to add heavy-duty security to your belongings—or better yet, look for a more secure storage option elsewhere.

This is the best storage place! The people that work here are amazing, helpful and friendly. I’ve used this facility a few times and always a winner. You can buy boxes and stuff like that too!

From day one, the process for renting our storage unit has been flawless... even taking into consideration a lot of the processes were done over the phone. When we arrived here from Atlanta, GA, we found Redondo Hermosa Mini Storage not only to be the most affordable, but the most accommodating as well.

India was very pleasant to talk to when she reserved our unit over the phone. Matthew, the manager on site and who has handled our account since, has literally treated us like family from that Friday forward. He listened to our needs and helped us along the way completely!

Communication is key in my business and quality customer service is hard to come by. Matthew has surpassed all of those expectation and more. ** If I were hiring within my own organization, I would certainly seek out Matthew as a top candidate. Do not use this place for storage. Employees were nice but there has been a lot of theft in these units. I first read about these thefts from the Nextdoor app and it finally happened to us. They do not have security cameras and unfortunately can not do anything to help you. If you have very valuable items I do not recommend storing them here as our units were broken into and there is nothing they can do or will do about it. There are also people living on the roof in vehicles and people using the spaces as offices. There was a man cutting hair illegally in one of the units. People also have access to enter these units from the street without a password to get in.

I have held storage units here since they opened in 2000. They raise rent without notifying their tenants. Their automated systems don’t seem to update, no matter how many times you go in to the office and update paperwork files. The latest: our unit is on auto debit and we get text messages and phone calls warning us it’s ‘late’, only to have it debited early. What’s the point of setting up a date OFFERED AS AN OPTION BY THE FRONT OFFICE (not requested by me—OFFERED by them) if they’re going to bug you and the manually charge you on a different day without your permission

Lots of theft, homeless living in units, 1/3 of the offices are empty for good reason.
