Not just for racers! My wife and I both have had ski boot problems over the years. She has specific needs owing to circulatory problems and foot anatomy, and I am just tall with thin ankles. Off-the shelf boots are murder, but PJ and staff worked with us to transform "stock" into "custom fit".

My first two times out with the new boots were rough (hot spots on the shins!), but I just kept coming back and the team worked with us until everything was just right.

Gotta say a properly fitting boot with the right stiffness really has leveled up my game. I am cruising with more control and confidence, and taking runs that I would not even have looked at last year.

The experience here was great! I have always had bootfitting issues because they were no real bootfitters in the area I live and I have foot issues.
I drove to Vermont and went to a well reviewed bootfitter and was given a pair of boots that ended up not close to correct for my foot and leg shape. I was having fit and pain issues.
I found out about Race Stock made the drive and PJ helped me out tremendously. Even told me what issues I was having with my skiing just by examining my feet and leg shape and the boots I had.
They didn't mention getting new boots, he offered to fix the issue with my current boots so I could get out and go skiing. I opted for new boots. PJ knew exactly what boots I should have just by checking out my feet and skiing style.
That's the difference between Race Stock and so many other shops. They really check you out and know what you need instead of just trying on multiple boots. They take the time to make sure you are set up correctly before you leave and make alterations if needed.
Couldn't be happier! I can ski aggressively all day in warmth and comfort! Gone are the days of the wrong boots, pain, and unbuckling after a run or two.
They also have a great selection of what I would call purposeful skis. Whether it's racing, skinning, all mountain skiing they have what you need and should have. And they mount bindings right when you get them, no waiting.
Best shop I have ever been too in my 20+ years of skiing.

Everbody needs a guy. Race Stock is mine. My boots have never felt better. My kids are finally happy in theirs. PJ found us Stöckli's we couldn't find anywhere else. These guys are no nonsense, know their stuff, have what you need old school boot and gear mechanics. Race Stock is my go-to shop even if they're several hours away or while riding a lift in Utah. Just awesome.

We were introduced to PJ through another ski racer’s parent. Scheduled a visit with him while there for break. We had an amazing experience. My daughter was perfectly fit into new race boots and now has an amazing product. Her control and skiing have improved with race podium results achieved right away to back it up. We plan to return with our other daughter, as well, before next season for boots and equipment upgrades. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
