I absolutely love this store, the stafff are friendly and the store is very clean and organized! I have been shopping here since this store was called p&c and was located by big lots back when Ames was around about 27 years ago and plan to continue!!!! Stop by and check it out!

I was greatly impressed by the way this store looked and the staff was very kind and helpful. The one thing that really stood out to me is a lady was walking around the store laughing, singing and saying hello to everyone. After I was all checked out I went to the service desk to see who it was and they said it was the store manager. This is what I like to see. Bobbi keep being the best store manager around!!!!

I like shopping here it usually has everything I need, but when I went there to grab some alcohol I was denied it, even though I am of age and have a valid driver’s license. I wasn’t intoxicated when I was there and I was very respectful, but she decided to deny me. I’m very unhappy with the experience with the women.

Produce selection is mediocre at best, but the meat department redeems the store a bit when you can actually find someone to help you. Frozen food section pales in comparison to other stores, but the prices are definitely better. Like any other grocery store there are usually about half as many cashiers working as are actually needed.

I will give Price Chopper a 5 stars. At first, waffled a bit on this- It is not my favourite place, but ends up being my "go to" place. They sometimes are a bit down, but they end up making up for it. They do try hard, and I appreciate that. I like the point system, because I take the money off of my bill total- always helps! The supervisor, a man, do not know his name- is smart, efficient, helpful and kind. It is clean. They had some issues keeping things consistent during this pandemic, but have pulled it together well. I'm grateful. Prices are good! Really like the Price Chopper in Shelburne- fresh sushi and a beautiful pastry counter!!!
