Great experience! The POD system was a great solution. Our stuff was secure & dry. The drivers were friendly, helpful & took pride in their work. My children were fascinated watching their unique vehicles deliver & remove the POD.

The employees here are always very nice, professional and helpful. The company is organized and dependable. But their hours are very difficult to work around for the average working person because they close at 3pm and aren't open on Sunday, so it's hard to get access to your stuff, especially if you have to unload it to get to something in the back. Otherwise, this is a better option than most storage units because you can have it brought to your home, shipped across the country or stored at the local facility.

When you move unexpectedly you need accommodations that are flexible. PODS was delivered to my location and when movers filled it, PODS took it to a new location! It doesn’t get any easier than that. I could load it on my schedule and that made securing movers a little bit easier considering it was last minute. I recommend PODS. Stay on your schedule…

So happy with my PODS experience. The drivers called before pick up each time and were very friendly. The whole experience went so smooth. I should have used PODS for my whole move, but I put the small stuff in the POD and had movers move the large items.

I moved from Texas out of state and Pods did exactly what they promised. The unit was right on time on both ends and they were great. I recommend getting a good loading team with Pods experience to maximize your experience and use tie-down straps.

Pods of Birmingham did an excellent job dropping off, picking up, and even working around my own failings on the website to schedule the proper date for our pod to be moved to the new house. They fit us in on the day I should have scheduled it for, which was great because we already had paid help scheduled to help unload that day. I couldn't recommend a service with more confidence. They made a very stressful surprise short notice relocation easier than it would have otherwise been.

Using Pods was a terrible mistake. After having possession of my property they initially told me that they couldn't deliver to my location. After numerous phone calls (7) and much discussion I finally got my property but it took so long that I had to pay a month's extra rental on each of the 2 Pods for a total of $840.95. It made for a more expensive and frustrating move. I would not recommend the use of Pods.

I will say however, that each of the drivers that I came in contact with (5) were very good and really knew what they were doing.

Moved across country with 2 pods. Had to have them stored for about 2 months while we found a house. In the meantime, the rodent infestation that was present in both pods completely ruined a $1,200 loveseat. Looked at the fine print... sure enough, rodent damage was not covered. Put in a claim anyway and the team took it "under review" for about 3 weeks only to tell me they didn't find that the rodents damaged anything and to read the fine print. Rodent poo and pee EVERYWHERE. I wouldn't use this service to move across the street and am telling everyone I know to avoid this service like the plague... speaking of rodents. So incredibly disappointed.
