Nice little shop. The guys were so helpful and really sweet - I don't skate (little intimidated), but I came in to get a board set up for my kiddo's bday. They were helpful and excited for him, made recommendations, and got us all fixed up. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. I definitely feel like this was the best option we could have picked in the area. They let us know they stand by their products and to come back if we needed any adjustments or other work on the board or had any questions. Unassuming store front, clean and straight forward inside. The stickers also made my kiddo's day. 👌🔥💙

They had a pretty nice shoe selection, but really not much of anything else other than a few skateboards. I went in there to look for some new skate shoes and was completely ignored by both staff members, They didn't even acknowledge that I had come into the store, I felt like a ghost. I prefer shopping local and supporting local businesses, but only if they are deserving... Based on the service, or lack thereof, I decided to take my money elsewhere.

Highly recommend this shop! My board was making a rattle sound when carving. I figured it had to be the bearings. Instead of selling me new bearings, the person helping me was willing to ride my board to figure out the issue. He offered to swap the bearings to some he had lying around in the shop. That wasn't the issue and he ultimately figured out one of the truck nuts was loose. He really went above and beyond and it is greatly appreciated honest people willing to help are out there! Thank you! Much appreciated!

Mike; behind the counter was absolutely taking care of business today. He razzed his regulars, jockeyed customer positions on the floor, raked in the money and everyone got what they needed. Offered his expertise to the kids and never skipped a beat. It was our second time in and these reps represent the reason to stop in and "buy local". Our first experience was just as great. Wish I would have documented the young lady's name then. (Not a big reviewer as my income can be destroyed by poor reviews). The impression left from our first experience dictated where our son wanted to spend his money again. Great job PLA of Folsom.

Customer Service was great, they were very helpful with my children, one of the kids only had $80 left after buying his board set and they were super cool to give him a discount so he could buy some shoes, I thought it was really cool they did this for him.
