We stayed for one night and it had everything we needed for that night and was well stocked for a longer stay. The management took lots of care in providing information for food choices and activity choices. It is a great place for families.

Lila is a great host! Met us and filled us in on local interests. “Room” was more - living space, kitchen space, bedroom space. Comfortably sized. Kitchen had coffee and tea, dishes. Great towels in bathroom. All was clean and tidy.

Got weathered in for a week waiting for the ferry. Host was kind to give a great rate for the unexpected stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Great location. Restaurants, lounge and many shops were in easy walking distance. Host was amazing. Definitely on our list to visit again.

We were pleasantly surprised we had a one-bedroom with a full kitchen. We liked having the separation since I'm usually up early. Lila and Paula (think that is right) were very friendly and responsive. We extended another night. It is not fancy and a little dated but was clean and comfortable. Location was good as well.

Lila was our amazing host for our 2 night stay at this lovely Inn at Homer! The location is perfect. It’s close to The Strip, great restaurants, Safeway for groceries, and stunning view outside our windows! Our room was jammed pack with wonderful amenities : coffee, tea, hot chocolate, an abundance of toiletries. Our room was particularly warm and cozy ( we experienced chilly weather even in July. Lila helped us with reservations for a terrific restaurant called Fresh Catch ( we highly recommend!) .She is an exceptional host. Alaska is an expensive venue for sure but the Pioneer Inn is very reasonable for a really lovely place. We loved our stay . We have already recommended it to friends coming next summer . Book a room! You will love it!

It’s a throwback, but is clean and has all the conveniences you need. Older finishes, has a full kitchen, built in table at which to dine, beautiful view, convenient location. Coffee and tea provided, main bedroom is separate from secondary space. King bed was too soft for my preference. Check in was a breeze. Provided lots of info about location. Made our stay easy.

What a gem! The Pioneer is an older hotel but, well cared for. The room was very clean, contactless check-in was easy, and in an excellent location. We appreciated all the information Lila left in the room about restaurants, shopping and activities. Very helpful. We highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pioneer Inn. The room was neat and clean, the instructions on checking in and out were clear. Instruction on using the TV and the temperature controls were clear. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable. We had all that we needed in the room. The Inn was a short drive to everything that we needed to get to. If we ever get back to Homer, we would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend it!
