My friend and I came here for a fishing and hunting trip, the rooms were just what we needed to give us a great place to stay that was close to all our outdoor recreation. One of the best parts was the kitchen in the room. We were able to cook and process our food and it was comfortable. The style is a bit dated, but it is clean and comfortable and the hosts are very friendly. It is under new management and deserves to get some attention.

I would t leave this poor review if it hadn’t stuck us in the middle of nowhere in 20 degree weather without anywhere to go in the middle of the night.

We booked a room through their website. We received the confirmation email and number. We were booked in room 22. We were busy all day and went to check in at 9pm. The signs are not lit so they are very difficult to see.

The office was empty with several keys on the counter but not ours. Called the manager who apologized profusely. Said the owner had really messed up and wasn’t sure what to she was going to want to do from here. She had the owner call me.

The owner called back with apologies the boat she and Jeremy were on in Florida. She went on to explain that a fellow had checked in earlier whose mother had reservations at a different location but wanted to stay there instead. So they had overbooked the room and it was no longer available. She had already canceled our reservation, refunded our money and followed up with a text to the number provided an hour ago.

“It’s ok”, the owner said, “that person canceled their room at the villa, so the villa should have something.” Which it did not. At any rate, there was nothing she could do from the boat she was on in Florida.

We confirmed with her what she was explaining which she then claimed to never had said, until we explained that we recorded the call and we could review it with her if she would like to.

To which she suddenly started claiming that we were yelling at her and hung up.

Apparently the issue occurred from them listing the property on multiple websites including Airbnb as well as the direct website address, etc and they didn’t sinc with each other to show her that we had booked the room.

This town is in the middle of nowhere so be prepared with a backup location if this is your choice of lodging

Shannon was great! We were driving into Manila on a trip from AZ, when I called, Shannon picked up late at night and was so pleasant and accommodating, she was able to get us in that night, within the hour! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Thank you Shannon!

Comfy and clean! Shannon was amazing we called later in the evening and she worked us right in. You can smell the clearness in the room, towels, bedding etc. Will stay again for sure and would 100% recommend!
