Uptown Park Ridge. Placed on Summit ridge, the “uptown” of Park Ridge offers a perfect meeting spot for locals and a dining destination for folks looking for exciting, trendy restaurants and a bit of spark in a winter evening (e.g. see my review for Beer on the Wall). You can also visit the iconic Pickwick Theater or get expert running advice and equipment at Dick Pond. Wherever you go, the uptown area will strike you as the perfect balance of intimate spaces where everyone seems familiar and an urbane neighborhood always with something new.
