We are from Germany but in the suburbs of Chicago visiting family. We travel often to Italy and have never experienced food like Panino‘s. We started with baked clams and grigliata (mixed seafood that was out of this world), margherita pizza with the best crust we’ve ever had and then 4 different pasta entrees…..each one better than the next. We couldn’t leave without their homemade gelato! Wow!! We highly recommend Panino‘s, you will not be disappointed. And the service was exceptional….kind, courteous and efficient. I wish there were more stars because they deserve them!! Love this place! Bettina and Thomas

Everything was great from the staff to the excellent food. Freddie was amazing and broke down the menu for what can and cannot be gluten free.
Very knowledgeable staff and they know what celiac is. They take extra precautions to make the gf food safe.
Highly recommend the cheesy bread sticks and Detroit style pizza.
Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free!!!!

Panino's in Park Ridge is absolutely amazing! The food is high quality, fresh, prepared perfectly and big portions! I have a dietary restriction, gluten-free (Celiac), and they have a decent size selection to pick from. Couldn't even tell it was gluten-free! Most importantly, I have never gotten sick there from cross contamination of food. The service is great too! Fred is awesome, can talk to anyone and is fun and interesting to talk to as well! Overall, I love this place! I live about 45-50 minutes away, and it's definitely worth the drive!

We stumbled on this place as out of towners and were pleasantly surprised. Delightful server and delicious food a little off the main drag. New Haven pizza is iconic and Panino's does a decent job with it. Flavors of margherita and white clam pizza were fabulous. The crust was okay compared to NH and NYC pizzas. I'd definitely return!

If I could rather this place 0 stars I would. Don't waste your money here. The customer service was horrendous, server was rude and hair was in my food. We ordered calamari which clearly weren't cleaned properly and fried despite telling the server that we wanted grilled calamari. They call their pizza pies which is absolutely insulting to the pizza and didn't serve classic pizza which are served in Italy despite calling themselves a "Italian restaurant." Everything we ordered was disgusting, oversalted, stale, undercooked and would give you horrible stomach problems after. Don't waste your money here! There is a reason why this place is unpopular and why it should stay this way. Not an authentic Italian restaurant. This place is better of calling themselves a cheap version of an Italian restaurant ( American interpretation)

Calling my accounts fake when you haven't even looked at reviews I've left LMAOO CLEARLY you guys don't take criticism at all. My intentions are not to troll, this place just didn't offer good food nor service. I was giving my honest opinion which you guys didn't respect. Authentic Italian restaurants don't call their pizza new haven style pie that's an American thing. If you go to Italy no one is gonna serve you a new haven style pizza. And no this is not the best restaurant in park ridge lying to yourselves won't fix the truth.

Also, you aren't in my body to tell me I didn't have a stomach ache? I have a medical condition that deals with my intestines. If the food wasn't well prepared, obviously, it would have an effect. The calamari were overcooked. Calamari should not be rubbery. I am not bashing small business it's unfortunately you guys are too arrogant to take criticism and tell me what is right and wrong. You give a very bad reputation for representing a small business. Having a bad week does not excuse bad food. Being bitter and wishing a customer bad is not a good image to be putting on the internet for your small business. Rethink your intentions before commenting mean stuff about customers.

Had the 14 inch deep dish or stuffed crust. Honestly? 2 stars out of 5. I tried to be nice but truly this place screwed up. Very disappointing to see a pizzeria in park ridge hand over such a poorly made stuffed crust pizza. It's a simple thing yet they managed to give me the worst deep dish I've ever had. No excuse for that. This is so bad that I doubt I would come back. Prices are high and you don't get what you're paying for.

Tried Paninos on a whim because I discovered they had a gluten free menu and I have been craving a good pizza for years.
Ordered a regular pan pepperoni pizza for my family as well and they loved it. Even my picky, never likes anything teen, inhaled his slices of pizza and actually said it was good! He won’t even compliment my cooking so that took us all by surprise!
Now the gluten free… I tried the breadsticks and a Sicilian style mushroom and Canadian bacon pizza. The breadsticks were fantastic! I couldn’t even tell they were GF. Their dough is soft a fluffy. Sauce is perfectly sweet, and cheese is (well it’s cheese…no matter what cheese is heaven).
The only con in my review is my GF Pizza was a little over baked, borderline burnt. But it’s GF and I know sometimes it burns because it cooks faster, but I’m not complaining. It was still fantastic, dough was delicious and it definitely hit the spot! I’ll have to remember next time I order to just ask if they can cook it less.
Now dessert… haven’t had it yet but I am anticipating eating my flourless chocolate cake!
Best part of this experience was the price.
After giving up on other places because of their over priced cardboard tasting pizzas this was a nice surprise to find a reasonably priced place where I don’t feel punished for being Gluten free…

Highly recommend this place. Bad reviews on here are ridiculous and lies. Definitely support this small gem!!! They are worth it!
