If you are looking for an affordable and safe place to live ... then keep on looking because The Palms LLC on Second St. is not it!

My mom was so grateful to have found this place when she moved here from the Bay area to pay for my 90+ yr.old grandma's nursing care. Mom's cost was $1200 a month at the time, but was about to go to $2500 for 24 hr. care. Mom thought that she might have to be homeless if she couldn't find an affordable place to live. Grandma was in her early 90s, so we didn't think this would be a long term living arrangement. . .but grandma lived to almost 103!

By now, Mom is 71 years old, and her retirement fund has been wiped out, AND she's stuck living 12 feet away from a violent crack addict (maybe meth), and a landlord that defends and protects him! Would you want to live there

He even threatened to kill my mom one night when she drove over some of his bricks while pulling in to her driveway. She tried getting a restraining order, as the police suggested. In court, the owner provided a defense for this creep. They accused my mom of something ridiculous like trespassing, and then the restraining order placed on my mom (for calling the police so much)! This has now been going on for about SEVEN YEARS! He cusses my mom out every chance he gets, has broken her car's windshields, and even shot through her bedroom windows while my mom was in the room! I've been asked to stay out of it all this time...and I have -- but I just can't do it anymore!

The only sense I can make of it is that the owner may have a drug problem too, and that he or his drug dealer, who also lives in this trailer park, are the owner's suppliers.
