I traveled to this DMV instead of going to the Joliet one because I needed a same day appointment. It was busy and they did lose track of what number they were on, but worked with everyone to get back on track. With the Friday rush, I was in and out in an hour and heard one women say she was staying past the end of her shift to help get through customers which is very nice and appreciated. Also, Hope was great she handled a customer complaint very nicely and I had a very pleasant experience with her help. She was super efficient and kind, overall great experience and I think worth the drive to not deal with Joliet.

If I could give this place a lower rating, I would. The service here is absolutely terrible, and they need to replace their staff immediately. Looking at the reviews, it’s clear that many people have had the same negative experience, yet nothing has been done to address the issue. The level of disrespect from the employees is unacceptable, they are rude, unprofessional, and seem completely unqualified for their jobs. Whoever I spoke to is lucky I kept my composure.

To the woman behind the counter that refused to do your job today, I hope what has happened to me today, and four years ago, doesn't happen to you. If someone at your facility had done their job properly four years ago, I wouldn't be dealing with this problem again. Additional job and customer service training is needed. Or, perhaps you and the other employees should seek a different occupation where you don't have to interact with the public.

0, the girls working behind the counter were so disrespectful and ignorant I left shaking. They tried to make me take off my hijab multiple times before giving me a form to sign to keep it in then giggled at each other about me.

Had to get my license upgraded to Real ID. Most offices in the Chicago area are PACKED! I had to travel to this area on business. Only took an hour total from walking in and walking out. Friendly staff but also about business. A+.

We drive 45 minutes past a different, unfriendly, DMV to go to Ottawa. Ottawa is always kind and helpful. It's worth the drive!

Nikki C. delivered exceptional service last Friday, June 14, 2024. I arrived around 2:30pm and there was only one person ahead of me. The table in the front said to take a number, and I was called to the counter in less than 5 minutes. Nikki's kindness, thoroughness and professionalism in assisting me was very much appreciated.

She was not sure about a process as my situation was a bit complex, and she made sure to call a supervisor to get the right answer before processing my request. She was very friendly and efficient, and I was impressed with the customer service. I am sure working here is not a very easy job especially dealing with the general public, so I was very pleasantly surprised that she had such a positive attitude and happy personality.
