I have been living at Oak Park City Apartments for about 3 months now. I have nothing but good things to say! The management team is amazing. Alex made the move in process easy and assisted me with any questions that I had. Maintenance is wonderful when it comes to any issues you may have. The cleanliness of the building is wonderful. Also, there is always events for the tenants hosted by the management team, which as a tenant makes me feel seen and heard. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve been living at Oak Park City Apartments for seven months, and I can’t recommend it enough. From day one of the application process, Alex, the leasing agent, and Paris, the property manager, have been incredibly efficient and helpful. They made moving in such a smooth experience and have continued to provide top-notch service ever since.

One thing that really stands out is how Alex and Paris go the extra mile to create a sense of community. They often organize gatherings and parties for the residents, complete with delicious catering, which is always a treat! They’ve also made an effort to learn residents’ names, making every interaction feel warm and personal, even when passing by.

The building itself is fantastic. It’s kept in pristine condition thanks to a consistent cleaning schedule. The hallways and floors are always vacuumed, and the laundry rooms are well-maintained and in great working order. Maintenance does an excellent job!

Amenities like the business center and gym are a huge bonus—they’re always clean, functional, and well-equipped. Plus, communication from the management team is always clear and timely. Whether it’s email updates or events like their recent Christmas raffle (with three amazing prizes!), it’s evident they care about their residents’ experience.

I’m so glad to call Oak Park City Apartments home. Thank you, Alex and Paris, for everything you do!

I absolutely love living at Oak Park City Apartments! The location is ideal—walking distance to Downtown Oak Park, with its amazing restaurants,shops and grocery stores. It is also one of the towns that is just minutes from Chicago, and only about a 15-minute drive to Downtown Chicago.

What stands out the most is how safe and welcoming the town feels. I always feel it when people are walking around, whether it’s during the day or at night.

The apartments are spacious, well-maintained, and provide everything I need for a comfortable living experience. The entire staff here is amazing—professional, friendly, and always quick to help with anything I need.

I can’t say enough good things about Oak Park City Apartments. The apartments are fantastic, and the management team truly makes this a great place to call home!

I would like to share my recent experience with the rental office, specifically during a phone conversation with a representative named Alex. Unfortunately, I found the interaction to be less than satisfactory. The representative came across as rude and condescending, which made me feel as though my inquiries were an inconvenience to him.

During our conversation, I inquired about parking availability, to which I was informed that it is based on availability and incurs an additional fee of $200 per month. I politely expressed that this fee was too high for my budget and thanked him for the information. However, before I could finish my sentence, he abruptly hung up without any closing remarks or well wishes.

I would like to note that this information was not available on your website, and I am glad that I took the initiative to call. This experience does not align with the level of customer service I would expect from a property with such high rental rates, especially considering I am not even a resident. I can only imagine how challenging it might be for current residents should they encounter issues requiring immediate attention.

This apartment complex needs modernization since it lacks contemporary updates. The hallways are carpeted, but I've noticed that the carpets have not been cleaned during my nearly one-year stay. Additionally, the air vents need cleaning, and the washers are in poor condition, very filthy. The management is questionable; they recently completed construction on the outside entryway, which took over two months and restricted tenants' access to the front door. I am extremely frustrated with the ongoing construction. They replaced a fountain with another fountain, raising concerns about the priorities of the budget and management teams. Not to mention, the management didn’t inform residents of the entryway being cleared to use until days later.

It would be more beneficial to either replace or more frequently shampoo the hallway carpets or to expand the fitness and/or community center. The decision to replace a fountain with another fountain, while leaving residents with limited access to only one entry and exit point, is baffling. Furthermore, another resident informed me today that more construction is on the way, which is disheartening. If you are considering moving here, I would advise against it, as the units are overpriced and outdated. There are numerous improvements that the management and budget teams could implement beyond merely beautifying the front entrance. I am quite disappointed and will not be renewing my lease after this experience and knowing that more construction is on the way, I'm truly appalled.

I am looking forward to moving in here! The leasing process was very smooth. Oak Park City Apartments was the last property I looked at during my search. Alex gave a such great tour and was very knowledgeable about the property and area so much so that it became my top property. Everything was well organized. Alex and management helped me through the application process, were able to help me secure a unit that fit my qualifications and price point as well as assisting with move in preparations. At all times communication is prompt and clear. Thank you for making moving stress free!

The quality of living experience here was top notch.
Alexander goes above and beyond for residents. The atmosphere is so peaceful and safe. The place is very clean and well maintained. Honestly, one of my best living experiences.
For me, it was Alexander’s initiative and thoughtfulness planning wonderful residential activities: such as yoga, breakfast and candle making classes to keep the community engaged.

I am equally grateful for the community manager Paris for her kindness, hard work, dedication and thoughtfulness. Maintenance is also very prompt. In addition, all the neighbors are friendly. I say apply and definitely live here. You will love it. I look forward to be back soon.

The entire team here is great, amazing apartments with amazing staff. Alex specifically has been fantastic to work with, and with great engineering staff maintaining the building, there aren't any issues to mention! The community as a whole is also extremely friendly, creating an incredibly welcoming environment to live in. Not to mention the attention to detail, being pet friendly to the point that they leave out treats in the lobby for your fur babies. Definitely recommend Oak Park City Apartments!
