Possibly the worst pasta I have had.
I mean, reading from the reviews, I was excited to try, but the taste and service were very subpar.

First, this is like Chipotle style, where you choose your noodles, sauce, and protein, and they cook it for you.
When I asked what people usually get with risotto, the guy at the front was very reluctant,he is like, "You choose any sauce from basic or house." Like you couldn't give a popular combination?

I read reviews about homemade meatball, so I ordered these extra and am very disappointed. Maybe it's supposed to be different, but Im use to soft and tender meatballs. These were really chewy, a bit hard. Very meatty flavor, nothing else.

Overall, this place has no identity...what I mean is, this build Your own pasta concept doesnt really work for me. There are pasta that just goes well together, as simple as spaghetti with meatball, fettuccine with cream sauce, linguine with clam or rigatoni with vodka sauce etc...
They should just sell what they are good at, with actual dish name.

It's like paying premium for Chipotle. With this price tag I paid, I could have gotten actual pasta dish from any italian restaurant.

I've visited More Than Pasta several times, and unfortunately, the experience has been very inconsistent. Out of the handful of times I've been there, I only truly enjoyed the food the first time. The vodka sauce pasta with veggies that I order is the same each time, but the quality has varied greatly, which is disappointing. The pasta itself is cooked perfectly, but the sauce tends to be overly salty, which I'm not a fan of. Despite this, I keep going back because that first experience was really good. The restaurant is small, with a few dining tables but mostly focused on takeout. The staff is friendly, and the interior is clean.

I recently visited this restaurant and was thrilled with their excellent pasta, especially the pesto! The taste was perfectly balanced, rich, and aromatic. But what's even more important, the staff was extremely kind and attentive, which truly added to the overall experience. This is like a hidden gem for authentic, fresh and delicious Italian food. Everything I ordered was fresh and homemade! I totally recommend this place if you want to taste authentic Italian pastas and cooking! A definite 2 thumbs up for me!

Some of the best pasta I’ve had in a while! Quite fair portions, pretty affordable, great service. Had the creamy Gorgonzola, small salad, small cheesy garlic bread, $25 with tax and tip. I would come again!

More than pasta has a great variety of options and everything on their menu is delicious! Staff is warm & welcoming - along with outstanding service.

I came with my toddler and they were so accommodating to his picky eating. There’s options for everyone. Would highly recommend!

Since moving to Illinois, I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this place, and it absolutely lives up to all the hype. We have been here a few times, and each visit has been a delight. The staff is super friendly, always greeting us with a smile. We love mixing it up and trying something new each time, and we’re always blown away. The homemade meatball unbeatable. The pesto always fresh and full of flavor.This spot is quickly becoming one of our absolute favorites.

I’ve only had take out from here twice but both times they were outstanding and it’s consistent. It’s a good amount of food for what you pay for and more importantly it tastes great!

One thing that first timers should know is that the pasta is a different texture than most are used to since it’s fresh. I think that’s worth knowing ahead of time so it doesn’t come as a surprise!

The food is great here. I’ve only had pasta but the ingredients are fresh, and executed well. In particular, I got a Gorgonzola pasta and the Gorgonzola did not overwhelm any of the other flavors. To me it seems like the people here really take pride in what they do here. Definitely a place I would recommend supporting.
