Either you get a good teacher or mean teacher. Deans are always targeting one person. Bathrooms are always flooded. Everybody gets blamed for something they didn’t do. Stick with friends, they will keep you sane

School provides very limited elective options. Administration is not approachable and dismissive of concerns. Principal Goodwin is an ineffective leader and avoids confrontation. He is disengaged from students and faculty. Dean Abbatinozzi targets specifics students. She does not document investigations properly and believes she is immune from accountability and can do as she pleases. Unfortunately, this school has been in steady decline since Principal Reidl left several years ago.

Hi, I’m a fellow student here and I got suspended Defending myself literally because another student hit me and my friend protected me and we both got suspended. The school is trash. Staff is snarky and rude teachers care about test grades more than anything in. They bully other students like I saw a teacher bullying a student because she wears the same clothes every day at recess plus the school bathrooms are literally ugly and smell And are not taking care of the janitors. Don’t even do anything. Do not come here.

They are one of the worse school District I have had my kids at. They are quick to kick kids out every though the parents are doing everything to get the right help for their child. These principles are rude to no end.

Hello! I am a student here, and I'm telling you now, this school is terrible. The staff are snarky and rude, and there's 99% chance your kid will experience bullying if they're not on the local baseball/football/soccer team. This would be your last choice for a good school for your child. Don't send them here if you have a choice.

Literally suffered walking through those doors everyday. The staff have no empathy for kids having bad mental health. The entire Florida education system is focused more on test grades than true teaching and education. I remember I took my friend to the nurse for being light headed and they were refused help because they had a AirPod in, then we went to the counselors and were waiting to see her and the dean told us to leave despite explaining the situation of them literally being lightheaded and on the verge of passing out from lack of food.If you hate your kids send them here.

Office staff are really snarky. Won't let 2 words out of your mouth before they cut you off. Update. November 2023. Assistant principal for 3rd grade laughed at me and called me mam so many times because she wanted to interrupt me because I made an reference about the kids coming home sick constantly and asked about the filters in the school and told her my son said they were dirty. So I asked how often they were changed. She went later on that day and took my 8 year old son from the middle of class and questioned him which one he was referring to that made him sick. My son thought he was in trouble and was crying when he got in the car because they questioned him about what I said about the filters to the Dean. Now he’s scared to death of them coming to him and pulling him from class again. He said he won’t tell anyone anything anymore from school because he’s going to get into trouble with them. I told her I thought it was intimidation and she laughed at me. Wouldn’t hardly let me get a word in edgewise and when I started to call her mam, after she said it so many times; she hung up on me. A substitute teacher had blamed my other son and had him in tears for so called flooding the bathroom. When I spoke to the dean, she said it was just some water on the wall and floor but an investigation would be performed. My son said he didn’t do it and the teacher insisted he did it anyhow. He gave them some names of people and the staff told him we don’t blame others if we didn’t see them do it, so I asked her why they were blaming my son so persistently for something so minor if nobody saw who did it. Now she said they were going to have a sign in sheet on the bathroom door…Imagine some water on the floor in the bathroom at an elementary school.. They complain about my autistic son making noises in the class and having to be redirected when they assured me they could handle his disabilities. And made me test him for months for a learning disability. I’m going to fill out paperwork to change schools. Can’t take it anymore. Never have I seen so many people who make it a point to intimidate, ridicule, interrupt, and belittle others. What a shame.
