Previously mailed gifts for Christmas 2023 without issue. Today, attempted to have document notarized. Despite offering to use passport, woman insisted on driver’s license which I did not have. She struggled to tell why this was not sufficient. Said I required a photo id to which I replied that a passport is a photo id. Still struggled to answer why I needed license so I politely left. After leaving checked out of curiosity why my passport was declined but everywhere I looked labeled a passport as sufficient documentation for notarization. Later in day went to FedEx and when asked if I could use passport for notarization their answer was of course. As suggested by others perhaps because my look was different than hers or ignorance. But last time I will support this shop will just use national corporations risking them going out of business. Waste of time for no reason during my lunch break. Other than perhaps profiling

As a member of the Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce, I joined others to celebrate a ribbon cutting this afternoon at Midtown Mailboxes. It was a very lively and upbeat event, and I also was very fortunate to meet and speak with owner Matt Bright. I observed him being very appreciative and encouraging towards his employees and immediately felt an impression of a positive work environment here. The space in this business looked very clean and organized. Congratulations and great success to Midtown Mailboxes and Farmville Printing!

It’s okay for *very* basic mailing services. Unfortunately the some staff members there have limited to no knowledge on postage and mailing related issues, which leads to a waste of time and an increase in irritation. That’s what you get for going to a incompatible place.

Nice little affiliate store, they do not take QR code Amazon returns because they aren't part of the UPS chain. Unfortunately the closest official stores are over an hour away.

The only way to return Amazon packages through them is by purchasing the Courier Service return for $8 so that UPS brings you a pre-printed label. Typically you just give the package to UPS directly when they show up but if they miss you, the label can be put on the package and it can be shipped through midtown as it's already been paid for.

I have used Midtown Mailboxes on multiple occasions and will never use them again after I found out how they conduct business. I recently had them ship an item for me and specifically asked for it to be bubble wrapped and what the additional charge was for that. I was told the bubble wrap was included in the price and that they would take care of it. I was not offered insurance nor was I asked what the value of the item was. The item arrived broken in pieces and it was not in bubble. I submitted pictures and receipts and requested for the owner to contact me. for over a week I was given the run-around (very professional!!) and was told the owner was out of town. Two weeks later after being told every day that I would get a call back (of which I didn't I had to call, inquiring) there was finally a message relayed to the store employees(I assume from the owner) that he was only willing to refund the shipping cost and so I had to replace the item on my own.
