Just an update, finally after days of email conversation, Mid America waved the "insufficient claim".

Insurance FRAUD, so After emailing with Sarah that asked for contact, Mid America Logistics still could not provide any photos of "damages flowers" or documentation of the claim, also threatening to deduct the money from our contract which lawfully is a crime. Never booking with this company again, it looks like after You deliver a load they can take the product and sale it and ask You to cover the costs.

This is company is a joke! We delivered a load of flowers for Aldi for mother’s day. The load was very nicely packed, with no chance to flip, yet we get marked and claimed for one rack of flowers. We provided pictures to claims department providing the case. Mid America would not provide any pictures of broken racks on our trailer yet they are trying to claim for it and treating not to pay out for the load. Never booking with this broker again

🚨 Stay away from these sketchy people. They’re unprofessional and extremely rude. Headquarters are based in Guadalajara México 🇲🇽 with a front address in MO. 🇺🇸 that’s why the strong accent.
People there are extremely rude, sarcastic and arrogant oh also extremely condescending people.
They talk down on you like you’re an idiot bc we can't understand their string accent and when you talk to em in their native language they flip on you and their true colors come out. What a shame.
I was charged 3 Late Fees for not making it in time to my deliveries because shipper took over 5 hours to get me loaded and so broker had to reschedule all delivery appointments for the following day and they still said that I was late. I offer to put a team driver on it so we could make it on time but they declined.
Looking back on it, these people had bad intentions all along. It was a way of getting back at me for not making it on time.
Shame on these people.

Yes all of the reviews are accurate. They will lie against your company no matter what. Come to find out they did the fraud. But was quick to put us on FreightGuard with a false report accusing us of fraud. These guys are nothing but fraudsters. They put us on FreightGuard because we filed with their Bond Surety for not paying us.

Joe posted a load from Fargo, ND to Tampa, FL and load was actually picking up somewhere else. 160 miles more. Those guys tried to scamm me for 160 miles, and I have canceled load giving them almost 4 hours notice before pickup.

They reported me on freight guard with bunch of lies, thanks God I have took screenshot of DAT posting and I have all phone calls recorded.

Please stay away, they like to scamm people. Very rude and dishonest and uncomfortable to deal with. They are going to my DNU list and all carriers and drivers should think twice before doing business with them.

Booked a load with this broker on Thursday for a Saturday pick up. signed the rate confirmation on the day it was booked. on the day of loading, we did not receive any tracking details or pick up location. Called the broker on Saturday spoke to a person who said that due to an update on their computer system our company was flagged for a reason they couldn't explain and they had rebooked the load with another company. They only offered me an apology for the broker not getting in contact sooner to get the flag resolved. Now I have a driver in the area with no load out. This company has been an inconvenience on our time and others time I see. Time is how most companies are paid and it is top priority and of upmost value as a driver and this one does company does not seem to value others time. This is not the first incidence, we had previously booked with this broker. Once invoice was submitted payment was withheld for 4 weeks, we were informed we were missing paperwork. But after looking through everything we had it didn't seem like anything was missing. We eventually were paid out after a long 4 week struggle. Though factoring company may show an ok rating for this company, be aware of cancelations with no contact and late payments.

Extremely rude rep Benard Alba, at ext 8516. Very hard to understand his english and he just hangs up on me saying insurance is not compatible, said it so fast and since he has a foreign accent I could not understand him, I called back saying it was hard to understand him and he said I spoke very clearly and I am very busy and do not have time to go over this since insurance is not compatible, I am definitely escalating this further than just a review because professionalism is important in a professional position and when you are representing a company you do not treat someone like that.. Rude representative of this company. Will be contacting further about this

I was not surprised with the rating, a logistcis company who do not care for their most biggest asset - carriers that is unasceptabe. Unprofessional brokerage personal, not recommending booking loads with them, someone needs to learn the hard way. Such a shame
