This evening, we visited the hospital because my daughter was experiencing stomach pain. I wanted to ensure she wouldn’t miss school the next day. We arrived around 7 PM, and they conducted a urine test, bloodwork, an X-ray, and an ultrasound. By 11 PM, I asked the receptionist if we could pick up the ultrasound results the next day so my daughter could get some rest. The receptionist agreed and provided instructions on where to collect the results.

However, after returning home around 1 AM, the police showed up at our door, insisting we return to the hospital immediately. I woke my daughter and went back. Physician Assistant Amanda informed us that my daughter’s condition could be life-threatening and that a CT scan was necessary within two hours. We waited until 3:45 AM, and when I inquired about the delay, Amanda rudely claimed my daughter hadn’t consumed all the required liquid, even though another nurse had said it was fine to drink half.

I felt disrespected and discriminated against, particularly by Amanda’s unprofessional behavior. I plan to file a formal complaint against her and the hospital for the excessive and unnecessary tests for a minor issue. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to non-native speakers.

Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly technicians. Phone hub personnel are outstanding in scheduling appointments and follow-up. I have never been more pleased with a health organization since I left my previous health group to go to Mercy.

I had Cervical Spine surgery by Dr. Ravi last week. He is the best Dr. whom I trust. The inpatient care at Mercy was absolutely the best care from Dr. Ravi’s surgical asst. each nurse & PT, each person whom checked on me & took care of me with such compassion. The hospital & rooms are very clean. Yes, if I ever have to have surgery Mercy Hospital is the Hospital I would choose.

First I need to thank my Dr Scott Fuji and Each of the Nurse’s and Nurse Aid were excellent I really felt cared for. One in particular was Nurse Gigi and her aid Ahlea not sure on spelling. They took such great care of me. Also a Nurse Enoch he helped me when I was in the most pain and actually made me feel so much better. I haven’t felt such human kindness since I was a child. Amazing care thank you. And also your Physical Therapist’s they were Helen C. Ricardo were extremely motivating I sincerely appreciate all of their efforts. Honestly this was the most enjoyable hospital experience I’ve ever had. Oh and the food was delicious!!Again thank you all 🙂

I was treated with kindness and efficiency. From the er to the hospital stay it was top notch. The nurses excellent. Even the food was good. Honestly having congestive heart failure and in exceptionally harsh pain most of the time prior, my Stay was a mini vacation from caring for myself. Thanks Mercy.🥰

I had a very pleasant experience at this hospital. The ER staff is amazing. They were on top of it and kept things moving quickly and efficiently. I never felt like I was waiting around too long. Everyone was very nice and professional. I needed an emergency surgery. The surgical staff made me feel safe and taken care of. Every RN I encountered during my stay here was very attentive and communicated well with me. Overall I am extremely happy with my care. Thank you!

I’d like to acknowledge ALL staff at Mercy Folsom’s ER, especially Dr. Dwight Stalker, MD, who was genial, kind, compassionate, & professional. I felt heard & confident in Dr. Stalker’s skills, as he was very thorough, which revealed an accurate diagnosis & treatment regimen. There was an RN with an English accent who was also very kind, approachable, and who I observed to be ALWAYS on the go, super attentive, professional, friendly, with a kind disposition. Even more impressive was that the ER was very busy the day I was there, and every staff I observed carried themselves professionally; calm, friendly & with a real focus on each patient requiring assistance. If I could give additional stars I would. Thank you for such excellent care to all staff who assisted me, I am grateful & appreciative.

This is a terrific hospital. It is clean and modern and staffed with wonderful, caring, compassionate professionals. I had a knee replacement surgery. I remained in the hospital for 5 days. The nurses and physical therapists attended to my every need. I had a private room with a serene view and the food was good also. I would gladly recommend this facility to anyone.
