This is the second time I've used Mentors Moving and, like the first time, the move went very smoothly. The team showed up as scheduled, immediately assessed the situation, and got to work. They were pleasant and attentive to my directions. They needed to take a frame, box spring and mattress to my next door neighbor, put several items to my outdoor storage shed, move a large bookcase that was half-filled with books and a large dresser. They also carefully moved several large framed pieces of art to another location so I could get ready to hang them.

My only complaint is about the process for completing the job. I got a message about a way to get a discount on my move but, more importantly, a bonus for the movers -- as long as it was done before they left. However, to comply required several steps that I couldn't complete before they needed to go.

Moving is such an emotional challenge. But Jeremiah, Juven, and Lalo made it remarkable pleasant and easy. They were so on task and so fast, but also thoughtful and careful. I had already had to handle a million details of moving; but with the physical move, I was able to just relax and give over the responsibility to them. I was at ease and let them take care of it – the wrapping, lugging, loading, stacking, securing, and driving. At the new house, I even felt that we shared some of the fun of figuring out where things would go.

Hopefully I won't be moving again for a long time, but I heartily recommend Mentors Moving. (I guess I should also say it was reasonably priced, because that is important too.)

I used Mentors to move into my house and used them again when moving out, and always had an easy and effortless experience. JR and the whole team at Mentor’s Moving and Storage were exceptional with the move of a baby grand piano for us. They had to go down a steep hill of stairs and they were very efficient and methodical while taking great care at preserving the condition of the piano. To add to this, the piano is an antique from 1926, they moved it without any harm to the piano at all. Tough task.

Although they took the time to prep everything properly, they were extremely quick in doing so. They have adequate equipment and staff to do any job, and can even move you across the nation! We had them store the piano overnight in their warehouse so we could be prepared for the arrival, JR invited us to see his warehouse so we knew where it was being stored, this warehouse is more like a showroom! Super clean and very organized.

Mentor’s will have our business for any moving needs from here on out. Very professional and communicative. I will be sending them videos to post of this specific move, so everyone can see the process they did so well.

Thanks Mentor’s, my daughter loves the piano and plays everyday!

Wow, absolutely amazing. Showed as scheduled with amazing attitudes and good equipment. Treated all of our stuff with respect and nothing was damaged. At the end they helped fold the moving blankets and helped me hook up the auto-transporter to my U-Haul. Would highly recommend this company for you moving needs!!

Thank You so much to Mentors Moving & Storage! I was extremely stressed over packing up a house & property that my family has had for 55 years. JR the owner made sure he kept in touch with us multiple times. Came to the house 3x to check what we needed moved, if we had any changes, & then any last minute needs.
The day of packing we had Steven, Josh, Miquel & Hector. Immediately on driving in they all introduced themselves, & Steven made sure we (mostly me) were totally at ease. Reassured me that they would take really good care of all my “treasures”, labeled everything & asked clarification questions. Those 4 guys worked their butts off! But made everything look easy.
On the loading day we had Steven, Miguel, Jeremiah, Alberto, Juventino & Charles. All the furniture was wrapped in moving blankets & taped or shrink wrapped. They made sure anything fragile was doubly protected. We can’t say enough about how they cared about (my emotional feelings) & of all our things. We will be meeting them at our new house in a day. I know they will take as much care delivering our stuff to our new house as they did packing up our old house.

Addendum - we wanted to say how GREAT Steven & Jeremiah were with driving our packed house to our new location (5 hours away). They arrived promptly just before 0800, got all our items to us safely (only one broken thing & that was my fault, I didn’t pack it well! All my glassware (which there is a lot) was wrapped so well. We had 4 unloading the truck -Steven, Jeremiah, and their 2 local helpers Miguel & Gabriel- only took them 4 hours! They took all the boxes and paper that we were able to unpack. I just can’t say enough for Mentors Moving Company and the crews they hire.

The movers in Santa Rosa and the lead guy who drove our belongings to Colorado were excellent. Special thank you to Josh Dewey who was at both sites and clearly was a careful, conscientious person taking great care of the cargo and able to direct the crew cautiously through difficult circumstances. Highly recommend this team
