This is my favorite hardware and lumber store, much better value and prices than HomeDepot.

They have almost everything for my home and yard. I specifically like it when they have the 11% rebate and fit anything within a shopping bag for 20% off, what a good deal.

My only suggestion is to make the 11% rebate to be done online, sending those receipts in and pay for expensive postage seems such a waste.

Had a great experience today in the paint section. I was helped by Jim, and he was great. I asked him probably 100 questions, and he provided me great solutions on all of them. I was thoroughly impressed with his customer service. Very nice and gave me great recommendations, I could tell he knew his stuff. Will definitely come back for paint supplies and ask for Jim.

Nice place to find home improvement and hardware items.
They also have truck rentals.
It’s a huge place with literally everything you can think of. Might be a tad bit expensive than Home Depot.

Not very good at solving problems. Two months past warranty with a car battery (American made)that almost set fire to my car. Their response” sorry we can’t help you, it’s past the warranty period” this is from the manager. Not worth my time but now I have to reach out to corporate. Not one person decided to take an incident report. Well I guess I have to write this review to document it.

Morton Grove Menards management at Illinois location needs to take action in this matter some of your employees need to improve their customer service skills (lumber department) is sad to see a 70 years old dude getting help from another customer pulling out big orders by hand. While the forklifts operators are just grouping in the corner.. I really like Menards and I hope you guys give some sort of education to be more helpful to people who physical can move as one young person. This can’t be happening to our senior citizens.

This Menards is outstanding. Anytime I go there all the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always very helpful. Ran into Cashier Billy today. Very helpful and very professional.

One thing I discovered today is that they have a saw so you can cut your wood to size which is fantastic. Five stars Menards on Oakton.
