Was hit by their driver while stopped at a red light. Almost 2 weeks later and their insurance is still “checking on coverage”, suggesting that I “go through my own insurance” if I want my car fixed faster.

06/12/24 Driver DOT#1606394 driving like a psychopath headed Southbound on Rand Rd in Kildeer. Cutting vehicles off repeatedly and brandishing a pistol in traffic when a vehicle honked at him. My wife was concerned so she asked me to call management, at which point the General Manager refused to take any information regarding this dangerous individual they have in their employment. What kind of trucker cuts people off and waves a pistol around in traffic?

These are the kind of people this company employs. They are not responsible enough to even carry your freight.

Edit: I wasn't the individual that the trucker had the confrontation with. I was the vehicle right next to the truck. He didn't cut me off but he cut off every vehicle in the lane to the right of me. Also, owner must have me confused with someone else. I didn't scream or yell at anyone when calling. The conversation was cordial but I didn't understand the lack of willingness to do anything about it. I strongly suspect the other driver called you. The clarification about the chassis sheds light on why to involve the police in the first place.

I am not certain of the nature of David Arrington's concerns, but his communication style appears to be akin to that of a petulant child expressing displeasure. Speeding and cutting people off in traffic, flashing high beams and back service lights in traffic.
Swerving in between lanes. The driver obviously has issues and should be dealt with. Will cost the company money one of these days, or cause a accident on the road.
