We live on our boat, so when parts are needed in the Bahamas, who do you call? Makers Air Freight Services. They were professional and the staff pleasant. They flew the part to Long Island and we picked it up at the airport. Easy peasy.

Remarkable! Best ever customer service, very communicative, friendly and professional. Medications and boat electronics arrived at our Staniel Cay anchorage within a week of submitting the proper paperwork. Full time sailors depend on getting shipments. I highly recommend Makers Air 💯!!! Wouldn't even try anyone else now.

This has been the worst experience dealing with any package shipment. We have been waiting for a part for our boat to be brought out to us for 2 weeks. The part had to be shipped in from Ireland first and then to us. Not only was makers unable to locate our package after initial delivery to the address they gave us but then told us that the shipment would be flown out on a flight and then never was at the airport. After spending 1.5 hours going to the airport and waiting there for the 2nd flight to land we were put on hold for 15-20 minutes and then told the package was still in Ft. Lauderdale. After communicating to Makers that we were moving on from that island with having a weather window to abaco we asked for our package to be UPS or FedEx to another frieght forwarding company located in Ft. Lauderdale. Guess what... after explaining we were unhappy with the service there was no response from Makers for a whole day until we asked the status and were told that their manager was "working on the issue" and that someone would be back to us shortly. Even after we asked a simple request to have the package forwarded to someone else in the states to get it to abaco since they dont fly there they still didn't do it. I think that unless your getting something frieght forwarded to Staniel Cay your better off using someone else. We believe that based on the service from their frieght department you might never get your package.
