Super nice airport, currently under construction so give yourself a little extra time for departures. Tons of dining options, as well as places to get drink. The snack shops are a little overpriced. You’re better off bringing stuff with you. Plenty of restrooms. Most of the security staff were friendly. The airline staff were friendly in the willing to help, depending on the airline and depending on the person. I’ve never had any issues. I’ve seen some people having interactions. All of the rental car services have shuttles to their locations to and from the airport.

Been here many times.

Today arriving at Terminal B:

Two things stand out: the global entry - we’re the only one or the first two, didn’t have to stop, just walked; and luggage cart is free: JFK charges for using their cart - at least till a few years ago - my last time there. Bathroom could use a little more cleaning.

Buses connect the terminals.

A huge airport which requires lots of walking (which helps in burning calories though) so recommended to come earlier for you not to miss your flight.

There were also lots of restaurants/shops to choose from. I particularly like the room for pets hehe and the book store.

A truly world class international airport with tons of parking that is a haven for Electric Vehicles with its numerous charging ports. It’s straightforward getting to the parking but finding a spot during peak hours is somewhat challenging. The parking doesn’t come cheap.

LAX is one of the busiest airports in the country, but some of its terminals are outdated and in need of upgrades. The transfer corridors can feel unsettling. After exploring the Tom Bradley International Terminal, Terminal 5, and Terminal 6, I found that only Terminal 6 has been renovated, offering modern amenities and nice stores. In contrast, Terminal 5 and the international terminal still show their age. Interestingly, LAX does not have a Priority Pass lounge, which is quite unusual for an airport of this size.

Layout is terrible, have to walk more than 25 minutes to catch a connecting flight. The two bathrooms i went in need to be better maintained. Flimsy doors, door latches, etc. Also, the one in the food court had two stalls and its capacity was not enough for the crowds. The seats in the gate area did have an outlet and two USBs for each seat but mine did not work or have power.

LAX is such an easy airport to fly in and out of. The traffic can be brutal, but we tend to travel early in the morning or late at night.
It makes it easier if family members or friends are gonna be picking you up or dropping you off. You should definitely arrive at the airport two hours prior sometimes security can be backed up.

I bought an ANA ticket flying from LAX to TPE , which turns to be I have to fly to SanFrancisco first. For unknown reason, i need to claim my baggages in the connection airport and re-tag them then go through the whole processes again.I do not understand why UA can’t ship my baggages to my destination directly, knowing my destination in the very first beginning. LAX is clean and efficient, in comparison to which in the past few years.
