This place changed hands. It is no longer Los 5 amigos. It is now El Jinete #5. It was very very good it would be my go-to place if I lived in the area

The reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s lacking ethnicity. I’m first generation in the US of a family who came from the Mother land of Mexico.. so maybe I am a little bias but nevertheless, when I got to the menu page with the combos I saw that most of the items were chicken Donde esta la carne? Well anyways moving forward my husband and I ordered and the food it self was delicious but prior to our order I asked the waitress if they have carne asada con arroz y frijoles she looked at me and asked “carne asada?” With a confused face and I told her I wanted a plate with carne asada, arroz y frijoles.. I showed her a picture and then she recommended a burrito that comes with carne asada and a side of rice and beans. I understand that it’s similar but I honestly just wanted a plate with meat, rice, and beans. She said that they don’t have that and she can get the owner, which at that point we had been traveling all day so I don’t want to give the wait staff a hard time so I ended up ordering their “combo amigos” which just came with tacos, a quesadilla, and taquitos and guacamole(not watery) which is always nice. Like I said food was still delicious.

We got a burrito here and the amigos combo and both were delicious and we were super happy with the prices.
The sauce on the burrito was the best I'd ever had, it was almost like queso.
Both the carne asada tacos and pastor were excellent. And the chipotle sauce the taqitos were served with was the best too. Would definitely go here again because there is even more I'd want to try and order again.
The waitress was super kind and even though she seemed pretty tired we were super well taken care of. I LOVE it when they ask us if we want more chips and salsa so I don't have to ask.
Also, I was quite impressed with the menu. It wasn't too overwhelming like many Mexican places and it was easy to navigate.

The food was great once the waitress listened, the first time. And don't expect her to do anything more other than stand and read. Cause that would be too much for her.
Ive not had the opportunity to come in a long time and it had been my favorite place in town.
Too bad they have people working who could careless for customers.

Los 5 was so much better before the new owners. I’m sorry to say it but it’s true. Our food was not great and we were the only people in there on a Saturday during lunch time it was like a ghost town in there. And the same song kept playing over and over until we left. I will not be going back there.

Los 5 Amigos is a pretty good place to get Mexican food. They have great lunch specials and their food is great. I don't really like the ambiance of the restaurant. It's not as cozy as i like but the food is delicious. They have pretty great chips and salsa as well. On a scale of 1-10 .. if give their chips like a 8 or 9 and their salsa like a 7. My last visit i had their special. Shrimp enchilada .. it was great i really liked it. If you haven't been there, you better try it out.

This place used to be good, but tonight was awful. The atmosphere and service was okay, but it was nasty food. Got Combo #5. The enchilada was smothered in just salsa and cheese. The chili rellenos was very eggy and so woody I didn't even finish it. The beans had a funky taste to them. Didn't want to make a fuss with the group I was with so I just packed the leftovers and threw them away at home. Don't eat here, not worth it.

Los 5 has a new menu in 2024 adding several America and family fare items while also losing a longtime favorite - the flautas. The food is very fresh and tasty. When we came the staff was short handed so the waits were a bit longer so please have patience.
