We had the Halibut Fish and Chips, Korean Rice Bowl, Humboldt Calamari Strips and Fried Shrimps. Everything was fresh and delicious. My friend said the calamari strips were some of the best she’s had anywhere. The Korean Rice Bowl was delicious. The trout was well prepared and everything was nicely seasoned. We were glad to have found this place on our way to the airport.

Wife had the grilled fish tacos, and I had the fish and chips. The transaction went smoothly, the wait was minimal; they give you a tiny pager so that you can wait in your car if you want, or just hang out at one of the picnic tables. The food was awesome and a terrific value! $19 for two big pieces of fish and enough fries. 🙂

We got the grilled halibut tacos and the halibut fish and chips and the halibut tacos were great but don't get the grilled because the fried halibut from the fish and chips is outstanding and would send the tacos over the top being fried! Get the fried fish! And the fries are very good, taste like an old school McDonald's fry! The service was quick, 5 orders to go took maybe 10-15 minutes? Were not local but we will stop here again on our way through! Only minor complaint is the fish tacos for the price should get fries with it. The fish and chips is a good portion and super good crunch! Tacos just a little to small portion for the price! Excellent food tho highly recommend! They have specials too (see pictures). And the tar tar sauce is sssssooooooo gooooodddd!

Overall food was good but calamari strips stood out for us. They were so tender. Their fish and chips don't have a crispy coating and I wish their fries were better. They were overcooked.

Holy cow. I had the Korean street tacos with shrimp and I think I realized what heaven is. They were so delicious. We sat outside because it is a food truck but by no means is it fast food. I would eat these tacos for breakfast lunch and dinner. The only issue is they don't have a location in Arcata or Eureka. I WILL BE coming back. We enjoyed the tacos on a beautiful, warm but arguably windy day and we had been struggling to find a place to eat and luckily this place was open and operating.

Some of the best eateries in McKinleyville are food trucks. This one is pretty darn good, although the Bahn Mi could use more seasoning.

Plenty of outdoor seating, which works when it’s sunny and calm (trying to eat with long hair and strong winds is challenging 😉).

Waiting customers are provided with buzzers to claim their food once it is ready. All credit cards accepted.

Not from the area, but my friends and I were visiting the town. Due to the limited options given, we went to LoCo Fish. The food truck was located next to a gas station with outdoor tables to dine at. Parking is available with about 5-6 slots to park at. Despite just two people working, I’d give them credit to holding the business together. I ordered the wagyu burger with fries. With the price of being it at $14, that’s pretty cheap from where I’m at. Fries were crispy and wagyu burger was alright. I enjoyed my time visiting but thanks for a good time to check the destination out. Won’t be back till another trip out.

So I had the halibut and chips,special of the day. 2 large pieces of halibut coleslaw and french fries. I would have gave 5 stars but the halibut was overdone and the breading is way too thick. It had good flavor tho. The french fries same way over done in old grease maybe. I dont know. The tatar sauce 1 of the best i have had. The coleslaw better than most. I dont know why people dont try craisins in coleslaw sweeten it up a bit. Thanks i be back to try a burger at a different time.
