We really wanted to like Local Crate, the meals look delicious. I purchased the Bulgogi meal kit from Target, brought it home, put it in my fridge. Next day I pulled it out to get dinner started and the beef had leaked, soaked through the box and pooled on my refrigerator shelf. Upsetting, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to a fluke. Took it back to Target and got my money back. Fast forward to a week later, I bought the Indian butter chicken with rice, again took it home put it in my fridge overnight. This time the chicken leaked, and soaked completely through the box and on my refrigerator shelf... I’m done with this brand, they have some serious quality control problems with their packaging. Steer clear of this brand unless you want raw meat juice leaking everywhere.
