6 year renter, reasonable rates for a great apartment though the real benefit is the Management and Maintenance. Communication is good, they respond well to questions and concerns, and I've yet to come away from an interaction anything less than impressed. I would rent from them again, and recommend them to friends and family.

My furnace quit out on Friday night, with the coldest weekend of the year on approach. They came out Friday and thought they'd fixed it, but the problem re-emerged over night. Saturday morning they came out and provided a temporary solution of portable radiators for the rooms, and took another crack at the Furnace. Steve, a Godsend, is their HVAC man - and he's the shit. He came BACK OUT midday Saturday, and discovered it was a problem with a gas valve causing the problem! He fixed the problem, stuck around long enough to make sure it was fixed, insisted I keep the heaters just in case for the weekend, and was gone - just like that, with ALL of my problems.

Drew Leman, his Maintenance team (especially you Steve), and his afterhours operators kicked ass and made this emergency that much less terrible.

I have been working over the last several weeks with Residential Property Manager, Patricia Wilson, of Leman Property Management Co. as I move from Southern California to Central Illinois for a new job (a 30 day time crunch). I felt it was necessary to share with you about the experience I have had thus far. Most customer service experiences these days are complaints or to share a negative experience, however, this is quite the opposite.

Patricia has been nothing but AMAZING! I am so thankful I have had her as a resource through the process of finding a safe, trustworthy place to reside. Specifically, Patricia’s kindness and her follow up is impeccable! For context, I am currently tying things up at my current apartment (a small 13 unit apartment complex under property management and I can not get a response from anyone, sadly-which is making this transition and move more stressful than I'd like!). Patricia has put my mind at ease, been more than kind to my family when they came for a tour, responded to any of my calls and all my emails-and I hope to personally thank her once I am moved in! I could cry from the kindness she’s shown me and in alleviating one of the many stressful parts of my upcoming move.

I share this experience because kindness is a rarity these days. Commitment to follow through happens all too infrequently. Patricia has provided me with both and gone above and beyond, in my opinion.

First night doing laundry at the apartment complex laundromat and the lid lock won’t disengage. Called and was advised by the answering service that there is no on call maintenance after hours. So my clothes must remain here overnight. Hopefully nothing will be stolen. Very disappointing experience during my first week in tenancy

We were so blessed to come across a property for rent with Leman Property Management almost 5 years ago and had the best experience ever while renting and working with them. We have used many of the large well known realtor rental managements in the area and have always had bad or less than desirable experiences. Leman is extremely responsive when communicating with them or handling maintenance or any questions. They are also very patient and understanding to work with you no matter your situation. Lastly they have not been our landlord for over 2 years and have continued to be a very helpful resource for us regarding rental questions and new available properties- in fact we have come to them first always and will continue you to our rental needs. I would rather rent from and work with Leman over anything else since there is such a good level or trust, respect and customer service.

I highly encourage any renters looking to start and stay with Leman for the best experience.

WARNING. THE GUY IN 8C IS A MENACE. MANAGEMENT WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT HIM. HE TERRORIZES THE WHOLE COMPLEX AND WILL VANDALIZE YOUR CAR. IF YOU'RE LOOKING AT 8D, 8B, OR 8E, MAYBE ASK WHY SO MANY ADJACENT APARTMENTS ARE VACANT

My bathtub had been draining very slowly. Took forever to empty bathtub. Response to maintainence request was very timely. Dan was the maintainence worker who responded. He found and repaired the problem with the drain. Dan is very professional, always does a good job. TY

Do NOT recommend Leman property management. I lived at their apartment for over 7 years and they did not replace or refresh anything in the apartment. No carpet replacement or anything. Maintenance issues went not fixed. They just try to charge above market on poor maintained apartments. Avoid at all costs!

Such an amazing and easy experience!! Communication was super smooth and always helpful! I definitely recommend as this was the smoothest process I have ever had when it comes to renting. Not to mention, the property is absolutely stunning!
