We rented jet skis here and they looked as if they were pulled from the bottom of the lake! Not only were they in terrible condition but they persuaded us to get insurance for them sight unseen. Had I seen these thing prior to booking I would have chose another business and not insured them. We waiting 30min for someone to “help” us on the jet skis which took time away from the rental period and they hardly showed us anything at all or taught us boater education.

This whole place is a shambles. Resort & marina. I could give a huge long list of all the hiccups during our time (which we are only halfway through lol) but to summarize it, the service and quality is lacking.
This place is wild.

The marina is the Wild West with no efficiency or politeness. They couldn’t rent kayaks because they had no paddles (huh?!), jet skis apparently unavailable for us but then rented to the two groups behind us? We managed to rent a jet ski after following up with staff. So very confusing.

Resort: please just fix the rooms (particularly our shower handle) and update the amenities if you plan on continuing to be the ‘luxury’ accommodation option in Lake Powell. I have been in campsites in the wilderness with better toilet paper and friendlier more efficient service.

I’ll privately email the resort so they can address the more specific issues.

The tv isn’t hooked up to WiFi. The kitchen is barely stocked with supplies for cooking. We found a spider nest of 8 spiders in the kid’s room. On top of that, the lack of communication and hidden fees is ridiculous. We not only are paying for our rooms and have to pay the entrance fee, but also apparently have to pay for parking?! Isn’t that included with the place we rented? Also, our group has pets and we read that the rooms won’t be cleaned if the pets are left unattended. That’s fine with us, but when we arrived they said that pets aren’t allowed to be unattended and threatened to check our place every hour to make sure it didn’t happen. Then they add an additional pet fee which wasn’t stated anywhere. You only get one confirmation email with minimal details. We didn’t even know where or how we were supposed to check-in without calling to ask. No maps or directions were given beyond its at the end of the highway. How is that helpful? I called ahead to see if pack n plays were available for our baby and they said we could request it but nothing is guaranteed and they are on a first come first serve basis. I’m glad that I brought my own because I’m sure I would have ended up with nowhere for my baby to sleep. We are staying at the Bullfrog Family Units. The only nice thing is the air conditioning.

Don’t bring your pets. Very misleading website which makes it seem like you can bring your pets and have a place for them to be while you are on the lake for a couple hours at a time. Would have found someone to watch my pets at home if the website had been more clear, but ended up in a tough situation after driving 5 hours to get here. Extremely rude customer service as well. Units are nice and in great shape, but overall experience was horrible.

Brutal service. Opened 15 minutes late. Only one agent. Didn’t get seen until 10am when the door was supposed to open at 9. Agent is slow and couldn’t care about the line.

This was our 8th annual house boat trip and it keeps getting better! The speed boat and house boat were great (clean, everything operational, etc). All employees we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. We will, without a doubt, be back for many years to come! If you haven't seen Lake Powell yet, go! It is a gorgeous place.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! HORRIBLE service. Its not the Lakes fault...lake was with Beautiful views. We rented a 48' houseboat with a faulty battery and the generator would not work.
We called at 8am to have it fixed....no service by 5pm. We finally got irate with Ed (by our 7th phone call, Ed was the guy who answered our many friends calls) and when we got upset he talked to us like we were children with small IQ'S. VERY DISRESPECTFUL and derogatory in his tone. Dispite drinking 3 Liters of water and using the water slide most of the day WAITING, 2 of the 5 of us got heat exhaustion. You have now been warned. Don't use this company.

Amazing vacation! Had our own houseboat and enjoyed exploring Lake Powell in Arizona and Utah. Nearby hiking was awesome, and the boat was more than big enough. Sleeping under the stars can't be beat!
