I had an excellent visit with Jon Hendershot, PA-C. He was professional, friendly, thorough and explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand and retain. My bilateral Knee surgery experience with the Carolina Ortho. Team I had the privilege to have, has been an A+ experience. I mean everyone from the ladies at the front desk, the nurse at pre-op, x-ray folks, admission guy, the nurse that prepared & calmed me down right before surgery, recovery team(whom I don’t remember) all the nurses & nurse assistant, housekeeping folk and the physical therapy team that got me out of bed for my first steps with my new knees. All were excellent at what they do and I appreciate each and every one of them!!! And than, I have one of the coolest PA a doctor can have on his team. I’m speaking of PA Jon Hendershot! Very relaxing cool cat that make you feel you are the most important person in the world because he give you all of his attention and he is some one that really listens to you. Jon discharged me and give me a boost of confidence that I would do great and he was the first to see me on my first return appointment and once again he gave my wife and I all of his attention. He removed my bandages and I was so happy with the way the incision had healed and Jon Hendershot looked at me with this big smile and said this looks GREAT! After reviewing the before and after x-rays he turned and explained what had took place on both set of x-rays and once again boost my confidence that I was well on my way to full recovery. Jon is a easy Person to talk to and I’m so glad he is part of The Team to see me through this bilateral knee surgery experience. Jon Hendershot is the icing on the CAKE that made this experience SWEET, thanks everyone, Cal

I have thoroughly enjoyed being treated not only by John but by the entire team. The one thing that sets John Hendershot aside is how engaging he is with my treatment . He explained my plan of care in ways I can understand. He makes sure options are available within the scope of what I personally need to help my diagnosis.

I have been a patient at OrthoCaroina Hip & Knee for over 2 years now and have seen Jon twice in that time, most recently on 8/29/19. I truly appreciate Jon's manner - I get injections in my knee and he is very calm, patient, and personable. He gives clear instructions, answers questions using layman's terms, and has always been timely. Everyone here is friendly and professional.

Jon Hendershot Is a wonderful PA full of compassion, true caring with an easy going and kind spirit. Jon pinch hit and worked me into his busy schedule late Friday afternoon. I had a minor post surgical issue that needed attention and Jon was there to take care of my need while also showing the cohesive spirit of Team Ortho Carolina to help out for other Team Providers. Go Team Ortho, Go Jon. Jon is also just a cool dude. Easy to talk, laid back and kind while being very thorough and attentive to detail. Case in point as I was leaving with my walker Jon commented it looked to high for me. He bent down and made the necessary adjustments to my walker and WoW it made a great difference. Getting a quick appointment with your doctor ANYWHERE can sometimes put you farther into your calendar than you’d like . Do not be leery of making an appointment sooner with your physician’s PA . They are very knowledgeable and able to take care of you . Jon Hendershot , Dr. Beaver’s PA is no exception ! I am very happy that I took my own advice . Jon was very thorough, as was Frank his assistant, and took care of me in a professional manner . I am very pleased with my experience with OrthoCarolina , Jon and everyone else that I came in contact with during my visit !

I had two surgeries here and both times I had a great experience. Jon Hendershot provided excellent care. He was kind and caring and spent time answering my questions. He was available anytime I needed and always responded quickly.
