I absolutely hate going to a store. They expect you to spend money and buy their product but they keep the bathrooms, locked, and out of order.also this place is trashed with wet spilled paint in isles that ruined my kids shoes🧐

If I could take and give this store a zero, I would. I called up to have them pull to skeins of yarn for my husband to pick up. The young man that helped me was helpful. He said they had five skeins. When my husband got there the elderly woman told him they did not have it, and they had not in a few years. 🤯😖😖😤😡I looked online and they do indeed have five skeins of yarn there. Now I have to wait for my husband to drive all the way back from Stockton.. his initial place he was going. Then I have to go with him all the way to Modesto instead of just taking the yarn and finishing the blanket I’m making for a neighbor’s baby. SMH 🤦‍♀️

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE POSITIVE REVIEWS! Google or JoAnn removed my honest review and left positive reviews up.

Do not shop at this store. They do not stock their products, so even if something is in stock online, they have not put it out on the shelves and will not get it from the back, because there are no employees. They also refuse to put price tags on their products or sale signs and don't have any price checker machines so that they can secretly upcharge you. Stay away!

Started the follow up 3 days after I placed a pickup order. The first call an employee said they’d call me back in 2 minutes. Never called back. The second time an employee did the same thing. The third time an employee said they’re working on the order and follow up the next day. I followed up again and the last employee told me they were over 200 orders behind and that if I wanted to go in to the store and shop for them instead and they’ll cancel this order….If I could have I would have. Unfortunately my youngest child is allergic to the cold. I then spoke to an employee about picking up what was ready from the order. I finally get to the pickup process just for the app to go and complete my order. And there was no parking available, I called to let them know of the situation where they asked are you parked out front and I said no there’s no parking spaces open. Then they said they need me to pull up to the front because they can’t walk to where I’m parked and that they have my order they’ll be right out. I pull up where I could and no employee was coming. I’m getting honked at nonstop so I called them again and when they brought out my order they said oh they’re not supposed to be there (referring to the other cars in their pickup spot 🤦🏻‍♀️)

Well, I'm not too happy with Joann's at the moment, the location in Modesto, Manteca, and Stockton. These locations, and im sure many other locations do not check inventory regularly and/or update on websites. On top of it, they have an outside 3rd party company handling their inventory for them!?!? This is why they have the problems they have. Obviously, these 3rd party companies do not care about Joann's or their customers. Making it hard for Joann's to achieve a quality of excellent customer service. This is extremely crucial for the survival of any business. Trying to find help in the store is also another issue at least in the Manteca and Modesto locations to assist helping customers in the store looking for someone, and i was not the only one. Management, I personally believe, needs to take the time and do inventory themselves. If not, these issues will keep reoccurring. My Lady really loves Joann's, and I do not want to see problems like these that can definitely 100% be fixed. All it will do is better Joann's Customer Service, which will be better for business. There is always room for improvement! Thank you.

This location is overworked and understaffed.

TLDR; Schedule enough people to cover the work load. Having people slave away doing the work of five people for less than the deserved salary of one has them sighing at me between every syllable while I dodge boobytrapped mountains of boxes.

The store was chaos and the line was 12 parties long with a single cashier. After 10 mins only one customer had been checked out, so I left and tried to order online to avoid an hour long line. 24 hours later the order was still not ready (it’s supposed to take 2) when I called to check on the order (because the Joanne’s system told me to) I caught hella attitude. The employees are CLEARLY overworked. Give them a damn break so I can catch a damn break please.

This store needs some organization and better care, as it's pretty messy. I understand they're stocking for Christmas , but so much is going on that is an issue to walk in the store. More employees are needed to take care of the floor merchandise.
