I have bought and traded multiple tractors with this dealership over the past several years.

Last year I ordered a new snow plow from this dealership.

This year I ordered and bought a new Bushhog and about a month later ordered a new tractor.

When they delivered the new tractor it was missing a set of remotes to run the Bushhog. Not only that but they sent a model with a different loader attachment from what every front implement I own uses to include the snow blade. I called the dealership and they told me that they would make it right.

Fast forward a couple months and I now have two tractors that no longer offer anything interchangeable between them as far as front end attachments and they charged my credit card over $4,000 without any authorization whatsoever. (Evidently they kept my credit Card number from a Transaction I did a year ago!)

There is also a $500 fuel charge for what I don’t know!

So, buyer beware! If you order a tractor from
James River, they may send you one that you cannot use with anything you own, switch up half of your equipment so that now nothing is compatible, then charge over $4000 without any permission, or authorization on a card that they had not right to
keep on file.

The time had come for a new mower. Sales staff were great. Charles delivered yesterday and went over all the options. Cruise control on a mower? Already used it. Did a great job in half the time. So quiet, doesn't even sound like a lawnmower Thanks guys. I may have to put it in my will.

I want say anthony rhodes did great job walking me through the purchase of my 1025JD. .He keep me informed through process. Mark Goode at Buchanan store was also great help also. Both these gentlemen are great employees of James River Equipment.

I had an issue with my tractor seat about a month after they had serviced the tractor and part of the service was fixing the seat because it was right when I picked it up but after using it and rotating it around facing backward it was stuck again. Sammy came by my house while on a call and figured out what was wrong, called me and told me how to do it in the future. There was no charge just excellent friendly service

Very helpful! Test fired and sold me a Stihl weedeater.4yr.warranty after purchasing premix fuel. Awesome Staff! I enjoyed picking at cashier w other staff,we all got ticked for a minute.

I wanted to replace my. 16 year-old JD x320, so I reached out to James River Equipment. Anthony Rhodes did a first class job of getting the deal done, answering questions and simply making the whole deal happen. I love the machine, having used it already and believe it is nearly perfect for my needs. I considered an equivalent Kubota, but then remained loyal to JD, because of my decades of excellent experience with your machines.
Mr. Rhodes did a fine job and when I finally get around to buying a big backhoe, I'll make sure I reach out to him again.

Travis, the service manager, has done a great job making the service dept responsive to customers' needs. He and Travis, the lead compact tractor technician, are both knowledgeable, helpful and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the customer.
Because of Travis' service department, I just bought a new compact tractor from this store. Mark Goode gave me a reasonable price and made the process painless.

Cost prohibitive repair prices. I would be out well over $1,000 on repairs for my bottom of the line, probably not even worth $1,000 John Deere riding mower. A couple days on Youtube and about $50 later I’m mowing grass again. I’m glad I was able to solve the problems on my own but would have gladly paid a couple hundred bucks.
