You will need to buckle up for this one. I have to admit, we weren’t expecting the taste of the delicious food this evening. Yes, we had breakfast for dinner and the cook was on his game tonight. When I say the cook, I meant to say the 12 year old kid knocked it out of the park. Tonight, it seemed like everyone working was not more than 16. All super professional and friendly as can be. J&D’s Family restaurant is a little bit off the highway, but it is every bit worth the drive thru lovely Brigham City. What a cool little town. We opted for the senior menu and found out that they serve the full menu all day, everyday. You can’t beat that with a stick, but you could try. We ordered The Jeppsen and Ham and Cheese Omelette and both tasted excellent. For a quiet Tuesday evening, in the town named after the man with 47 wives, the atmosphere was refreshing and the place was nearly full. Great job.

The only good thing about this place was the service. They were kind, prompt, and did a good job. The food however was truly bad. You get better food at a fast food restaurant. My bar is pretty low when it comes to diners— I’m not expecting fantastic food, but this was so bad. Everything on our plates came from a can or the freezers. Even my 9 year old said that his spaghetti tasted like tomato soup with noodles. My French dip had zero flavor, and I’m pretty sure the roast beef was just heated up deli meat on a dry roll with canned au jus. My other son had some mashed potatoes that were from a box with canned gravy. We don’t get to go out to eat often, so it really sucks that this was our experience.

Very homey and family friendly atmosphere. Servers and staff were very friendly from start to finish. Service was quick. Food came out relatively fast. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. I had gotten iced tea which was fantastic. The place is conveniently located and is clean. Will be returning.

This was a BAD day at J&D’s. Service took forever, food sat on counter for 10 mins, food was…well, see for yourself. Table card was FILTHY. The kitchen had been turned over to high school children. (Fri, 12/13, 3pm)

Always love coming here on my way to Ogden. Been coming here off and on for 20 plus years. My kids grew up coming here. Waitress today was amazing. Thank you for making me feel welcome. Great food and great prices. Small town feel. Will be back.

I really like this place. It has decent food and is an old diner so it has a special feeling to it,a good one. The servers are very friendly and very good at their job. I really love their all day breakfast. If you read this J&D, hello to taller Sidney,you are my favorite server. Haha,the Latina Sydney is also up there on the list. Both are always smiling and helpful.

My wife and I went in there this evening. Service was exceptional. My wife had chicken fried steak on the senior menu. She said it was very good. I had the chicken fried steak on the breakfast menu. Everything was cooked. Perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food and Awesome service!! I'm glad that I stopped at this local greasy spoon for breakfast. Kudos to Brynlee who served me at the counter on Sunday 5.27.2024. SPECTACULAR Service.
