First off, I went to my storage unit this morning and they had placed a lock on it. My payment was due on the 16th but you have 6 days after the due date. I paid it the same day and then called about getting the lock removed so I could gain access to my unit. They didn’t have anybody to remove it today. I ask if I could cut it off and pay for the lock. He advised me if I did they’d terminate my contract. He couldn’t even tell me why it was put on there, he stated it shouldn’t be on there. I need to be compensated for their mistake but I probably won’t be. I told him I needed to get in my unit today because we work thru the week but he said it wasn’t anything he could do. He said it’d be Monday before it could be removed. I need to know why it was placed on there to begin with. If they can’t do better than this I’d recommend going somewhere else for your storage needs. I’ve been with them a couple of years and I’ve never had this to happen.

If you’re renting climate controlled storage units from IStorage I would get your stuff out & go somewhere else. We noticed multiple times that it was SUPER hot in here but never thought that it would be because they HAVE THE HEAT ON OR JUST HAVE THE AIR/HEAT FLAT OUT TURNED OFF!

I saw that the thermostat was a little opened & wanted to check the temp in here & it was 85 degrees. I went into each hallway to check & they were ALL turned off or on HEAT. It’s literally cooler outside than in this place! We turned the air on finally after being drenched in sweat from emptying out our unit all afternoon. We pay $250 for CLIMATE CONTROLLED & get this Absolutely RIDICULOUS
