I made it a point while filling out the application to ask what the payment options were and was told in person that I could co online and set up auto payments, and this was a large part of my decision to use this unit. After several unsuccessful attempts to set it up, I was finally told over the phone that you cannot do this for storage units "but I think you used to be able to" (despite the fact they have the system to do so, and you can for all apartments under Leman Property Management) and that my only options are to drop off or mail a check or money order every single month. Clearly they go out of their way to make it less convenient to pay so they can auction your stuff after missed payments. The system is already there and in place, the only difference is that in a storage unit they are allowed to take all of your stuff if you get behind, so of course why would they let you set up auto payments so you never get behind 🙂
