The brisket is fantastic! Very moist.
The Smoked chicken is very good!
The potato salad was different so I’m not sure how much I liked it! The Mac and cheese was a 10 out of 10! I will come back a lot! Very very good!

We love this place! The food is top-notch, and the service, too. We called and ordered takeout. We have been wanting to try this place sometime, as its reviews are great, and we were not disappointed! The brisket is so tender, melt-in-your-mouth.🤤🤤 We got both the chicken and beef tacos, and they were so great! Totally recommend! The cinnamon rolls were great; big, too. The wings were the best ever; we got the house BBQ flavor. I love supporting local businesses like this, and I totally recommend this amazing place to everyone! The prices were fair, and the food is far worth it. Thank you! 🥰🤩😋😋

We learned about this great BBQ place from the local Green Pages coupon booklet. Real 'que, made by real nice people, it was definitely worth the 20-mile drive to partake. We both had sandwiches: mine was brisket, tender shreds of great-flavored meat served in an (untoasted) egg-bread bun. The slaw side I loaded into it had no onions but did have kale with the cabbage and carrot shreds. At the table, we had a display of spicy and standard sauces, including a "Zesty Gold" one reminiscent of Honey Mustard dressing. My spouse devoured the Brisket Jalapeño Sausage sandwich drenched with a mix of Texas and Carolina sauces, then ate the slaw as a side. I opted for the Apple Jalapeño sauce as a moderate topping for my sandwich - I eat slower than my spouse, and I worried the untoasted bun would get soggy before I finished. But I shouldn't have! The sandwich was so delicious I had eaten the whole thing a few minutes later than my spouse polished off the slaw.

A nice mix of high tables (atop oil drums) and picnic benches (great for the whole family!) made this space welcoming and truly family-que friendly. We plan to come back on Saturday for their ribs! (Thanks for that tip, Andrea.)

BTW, turn off of Parawon's "Main Street" onto Hwy 271 before you head west across the Interstate to find this gem!

I know good BBQ. We have some really great places in East Texas but I’m humbling myself to say that this one wins, hands down!! Service is great, brisket and beans are amazing, and the tacos are unbelievable!! They’re only open on Saturday and when they run out, they’re out so go early!!

I have eaten here several times. The food is incredible. The brisket is the best. The staff is always friendly and so attentive. The music and decor are cool. The vibe is relaxed. I have attended a few events there as well such as a veterans benefit. Everyone there is community minded and great.

Wow!!! I’m so glad I finally headed out to Parowan to eat here. The staff is so friendly, welcoming, and kind (and not the fake nice either). We were hungry so we ordered Frychos, BBQ salad, wings and some brisket. Everything I ate was insanely delicious. Holy moly that brisket 🤤 and those wings 🤤 The salad was fresh and their dressings are homemade. Man I love homemade blue cheese dressing. The words in my review can not begin to describe how amazing the food is here. I left there stuffed to the max. Thank you High Voltage for the awesome dinner.

Exceptional BBQ. I had the pulled pork and it was so tender and juicy and flavorful.
My husband had wings and smoked sausage which were very good also.
We shared the potato salad which was a mustard potato salad. We thought it was a little strong on the mustard but understand that some people like mustard more than us.
The staff were all wonderful. Friendly and attentive.
They have a smoke room or pit room built on the back and the aroma was great.
They also have a bar area for those over 21.

It was a lucky stop for us! It was one of the best barbecues we ever had. So if you're close to this town, make sure you stop by. A super friendly place, where the owner was happy to show us the big "smoker" in which the meat is cooked and share some of his secrets.
